Thats the problem with his style. If he's behind on rounds he isn't wining unless he finishes.

easy. Machida is a counter fighter and didn't attack as much. Rampage has more active.

I think machida won the fight. but do think he lost rounds 1-2 so loses on scoring.

I think a rematch is bad marketing for UFC, overall the fight was pretty boring even with Jackson's aggression and pursuit.
 
Wow. Lyoto got ripped. Good for Rampage but that was BS. I agree with Joe that his aggression and cage control were the only thing that helped him. He only landed like 4 good shots it seems...

??? They didn't rule he won the 3rd. He won 29-28 28-29 29-28. No one will have him winning the 3rd. Someone had Machida winning either the 1st or 2nd as well which is b.s.

I agree with that strictly because the only real damage occurred in the 3rd round, but thats what he gets for letting the fight come to him the entire fight.

Thats why there is scoring. It's not Jackson's fault Lyoto just let himself get chased around for 2 rounds.

Jackson was very smart. usually people get frustrated and pissed and come in hard against Machida and when that happens he fucks them up.

rampage didn't get suckered into that game. he didn't get crazy but still pushed it.

finally in the 3rd he got caught and nearly got knocked out.
 
Just got back from the bar (I finally get to enjoy the Buffalo Wild Wings they opened after I left Michigan) and...Lyoto should've lost by points, sure...but damn I wish they had another round. I still would've rather attended live, but the fights were largely underperforming.

I can't wait for UFC 125...the slow integration of WEC is going to be fantastic. 🙂

I'm not sure it's really fair to say Hughes doesn't have anything left when he got flash KO'd. We didn't get to see shit because BJ landed a perfectly placed punch that put him on queer street, then he instantly pounced before Hughes could recover and he blasted him out cold. Good shit, but I hate not getting to see these guys in a few different aspects. Props to BJ though, I thought Hughes would take it.

I have a cold and Nyquil makes me loopy. I think the first 2 rounds were kind of a toss up but though Machida won the first easily and dominated the 3rd. Shit, even Rampage thought he lost.
