Silva to defend his belt vs Sonnen.

Sonnen powned his last 2 opponents but I predict Silva winning.

plus
Matt Hughes is back.
and Roy 'Big Country' Nelson is finally on a PPV fight!

This is probably worth the $45 ppv

I AM PUMPED!!! I hope Chael can back up his bark, he is a tough hombre but he has got to be better then mr. silky smooth

I think Chael will show his iron chin once again but I dont' think he has what it takes to challenge Silva on a physical basis, Silva is just to long and lean

Go fat boy Nelson!

fat boy Nelson is fighting Dos Junior Santos
this aint no scrub he's fighting.

by pics alone, fat boy shouldnt even be in the ring. yet he beat Kimbo slice and won Ultimate Fighter last year.

Tough call on fat boy's fight

Chael may win if he can draw Silva to do some more "clowning".

I thin he's got the acting ability to convince Silva that he is being dominated, and then at the right moment when Silva does the typical "guard drop and chin out provoke move", he can crack his skull wide open

god I can only dream how sweet that would be hahah, I hate Silva and his overly confident ass, but you got to respect how good he is unfortunately

What happened to Kimbo? Does he have any fights coming up?

kimbo's washed up.

he's all upper body and no legs.

in the last fight:
1st kick at his thigh hurt him. 2nd kick and he was done.
all it took was just 2 kicks to the legs to win vs him!

so he's like a 2nd or 3rd level Mike Tyson Punchout character?.... :(

I felt bad for Kimbo. If only his knee wasn't so awful maybe he could be somewhat successful. Unfortunately we'll never know because anyone he fights will just kick the shit out of his leg.

This is a stacked ppv. I can't wait.

Sonnen's been doing a lot of talking. I hope he kicks Silva's ass, but I dought it.

I'm actually excited for Roy Nelson and Junior Dos Santos.

As hurt as his legs are, I don't think it had anything to do with his success in mma. The guy was awesome brawling in the streets, but he never had complete mma skills (though I give him credit for trying during TUF). Hell he couldn't even take a punch from little Seth Petrucelli.

big country is no joke, i used to watch him in the IFL. of course JDS is a beast, so i'm hoping for a good fight.

beating kimbo slice isn't really an achievement.

also, sonnen is going to destroy silva, and then dana white is going to fire him. that's what he believes at least, and if chael says it, it must be true.

If he does, it's in another promotion cause he got cut after the Mitrione loss.

After the Maia fight I find it hard to plunk down PPV cash on Anderson until he starts tooling people again - and he probably will against Sonnen but I'm going to pass on this card.

I completely believe Chael when he says that he's going to bring the fight to Anderson... And he won't have a choice but to engage.

The card is stacked, the Silva fight, I don't see making it the distance, someone is getting KO'd fast.

JDS and RBCN, another great match people aren't giving Big Country enough credit, however JDS is just so damn sick at striking he should win.

Then the pitbull vs. JF, I really hope the pitbull has improved but think it's retarded if he wins he gets a title shot.. when his last fight was getting owned for 5 rounds care of GSP.

He got cut from the UFC following his loss to Matt Mitrione.

People are talking about his week legs and knees, but Mitrione is really the only one I seen who attacked his legs like that so I'm not sure it's fair to say he's done with MMA until we seen more matches. Though I never believed him to be anywhere near a top fighter, I expected him to do better than he has.

I don't know much about Sonnen but I think Silva will win it still (though I don't like him). Some of his dodging makes it look like he's doing a choreographed movie fight sequence.

Roy Nelson seems decent but I think JDS will definitely win. Nelson has some decent wins but none of his performances really looked that great to me. Supposedly he has great BJJ but mostly I just see him punch dudes.

If Nelson can get JDS down, he has a very good chance of being able to get a referee stoppage.

Chael Sonnen has showed a vulnerability to submissions in the past (against Maia and Paulo Filho most recently) and Anderson Silva's guard is no joke, so even if he does get Silva down, he's gonna have a tough time. And standing, it's all Silva.

I think its hilarious when people poke fun at fighting champions. It literally is the one sport where you get to whip someone's ass if they think they are better than you. And I don't care if Silva is a douchebag, fighting champions earn that right. He's a monster.

I hope Silva plays off Chael just like Maia.

Won't happen. Sonnen WILL get Silva to the ground. He won't be able to dance like he did against Maia. Silva is elusive, but Sonnen is the best pound for pound wrastler in the division. Given all that, I can see Chael's face a bloody mess by the end of the first or second round....

hate to say but Sonnen has a very very small chance of winning (hell even Serra beat GSP..) Silva is going to make quick work of him. i doubt it gets out of the first round. THOUGH if it does sonnen has a chance.

I am rooting for Roy. while he has a chance JDS is a fucking monster. if Roy can get it to the ground he can get a win. standing i give it to JDS but on teh ground Roy has better JJ.

the fitch vs thiago fight should be amazing too.

Clay guida.woot the guy is my favorite fighter. I hope he wins. i would like to see him as champ.

Matt is back? Thats both good and bad. He should stick with his hall of fame reputation and not get beat down again. But, he is more than capable of beating down about 90 percent of the people in that weight class. IMHO he is one of the all time best fighters, but like all of them, they need to know when to hang it up.
