interesting. It didn't look like it would work w/ the socket 754, but hey if they say it does...
As for scores on the A64 3200, i think it was around the 190 mark (just for the CPU), in comparison my AXP 3200 gets 204. but really that score means nothing, How quickly it can actually munch through a wu is far more important. in that area, the A64 was a bit better, but not by a large margin. Remember, that the "3200" rating is a relative rating, just as the "3200" for the Axp is a relative rating,
my XP 3200 has been crunching away for about 1400 hours, and has generated 33,100 points thus far, for an average of about 23 points/hr. The 64 3200 ran for 106 hours and generated 3630 points, or 34 points/hour. So, yes the A64 would seem to be faster, but consider that I've also used my XP for gaming, school work, etc, so I'm sure it's potential is quite a bit higher. Also, seeing as the 64 3200 cost about 2.5 times more money.....
