BTW, turns out there is a bug in TXAA in CoD which makes TXAA+SGSSAA much more blurry than it should be. If you turn Ambient Occlusion off, then TXAA+SGSSAA looks like it is supposed to look, like the images below. Note you can also mix negative LOD with TXAA. In fact you can easily max out negative LOD setting in the Inspector, as TXAA can handle a lot of negative LOD due to it's larger filter.

He removed all TXAA articles on his blog. That doesn't bode well for TXAA future.

Anyone tried TXAA in Crysis 3? I have tried it. First of all MSAA in Crysis 3 is very bad and slow, that's why TXAA runs slower than usual I guess. Also there are graphic glitches with MSAA enabled. TXAA kills effectively almost all shader flickering, by far the smoothest AA modus in Crysis 3. But it blurs the picture heavily. It removes many texture details.
