Hey now!! 😡 In the early 70s I used to be a goalie for gouret de salon, which is very similar to ringette but played in sneakers on a hardwood gymnasium floor instead of hockey skates on ice. Was also a goalie in olympic handball (played on a similar surface with different dimensions).

Putting someone in a cage for the rest of their life unless they are incredibly violent and evil is as bad as rape, imho. It's really cruel, to say the least.

You act like the teen did not consent. As I recall the article was quiet on that subject.

It really depends on that. If true, then sure - we need a strong response. However, statatory rape based on only an age difference and objecting parents. It must not be treated the same.
