Could a 5850 turn as much eye-candy on as a 5870 at a resolution like 1600x1200? Things like anti-aliasing, etc. If they're equal at that resolution, I'd like to know. Thanks.
Thanks, is it worth getting a 5xxx series card with non-standard cooling or does it not make much of a difference? I'm not sure how hot or loud they are by default. Thanks.

I have a 4890, which is only 4 fps less than the 5850 on that chart. Crysis is playable, but an absolute horrible experience with a card struggling along like that.Yes ,except for mabe Crysis or Stalker.
Edit: I was wrong it will handle any game at that res.

The stock 5870 is one of the quietest cards I've owned, even in games there's only a "whoosh" of air coming out of it, no fan noise. Is the Vapor-X 5870 worth hanging around for to come in stock or is that a lost cause? In the meantime I'm going to be without a gaming card, so the wait might hurt. Thanks.
