If I haven'y made it clear so far, @UglyCasanova we see your damned mother fucking bigotry. If you can't handle a few swear words, maybe you should just fuck off entirely. Your ideology is way worse than a few swear swords you damned piece of fucking shit.

She is hurting inside. She doesnt think its fair that she didnt have the opportunity to live life as a woman and now she hates others who get that. Have some compassion.

Mmm, I'm not quite sure if you're being facetious... but I'm definitely on @Sonikku 's side.

Edit: you were ... good to know lol.

Your insults aside, even if this is true are there scientifically sound tests that have a 100% or damned close to it success rate for diagnosis? Before messing with Mother Nature and doing irreversable changes to these kids we had better be damned sure that’s what’s necessary.

I literally linked exactly that in my post. How about you read the responses in your own thread?

You’ve got issue my friend. Again, I’d love to have conversations with you but you don’t seem to want the same and instead just come off as emotional and unhinged. I can handle swearing but it pollutes the forum, a crutch for lack of substance.

I don’t know if I’d say I have an ideology, I question the wisdom in what the direction society seems to be taking and the use of irreversible medical procedures on kids who can’t possibly have come to grips on something like this. My opinion is the doctors involved are taking enormous risks and they’ll inevitably get some wrong. We need to take pause and really think through the ethics of this.

Right, just like we should prop up the opinions of people on social welfare for their opinions on social welfare. Couldn't be bias or anything you fucking halfwit retard.

Just like asking doctors on their opinion of health plans - they couldn't POSSIBLY have a vested interest in their opinion could they?

Fuck off with that retarded logic you dimwit. I respect Sonikku as someone here that seems incredibly sane and (overall) an awesome person, but trying to prop up opinions on the basis of divisions is where I draw the line.

Bias? Yeah let's just completely disregard the experiences and histories of those that directly deal with the subject, and instead focus upon assumptions and falsehoods perpetrated by those with mal-intent.

Who would be a better critic of the inefficiencies and pitfalls of a particular social welfare program; a recipient, or a politician that wants to reinstate social darwinism?

Who would offer better insight into how the medical industry currently operates and the failings of particular branches? Someone who's living is predicated upon dealing directly with it, or some joe-blow who regurgitates Fox wankery to the point that his dick has taken on the appearance of Murdoch's melted visage?

Yeah we shouldn't seek the opinions of people who actually know shit. Instead, we should look to Ben Garrison and neo-nazi uncles that aren't allowed to be within 300m of a minor.

@UglyCasanova must be thinking a lot about being a woman. 2 threads on page one? I mean I think about transgenders when it comes up. Other then that live and let live. It must be on her mind for a reason.

Yep. If you're interested, you can read up on my thrilling attention seeking experiences exploring this "fad", as you've put it.

Interesting and I’ll give it a read. To be clear I’m not saying you consider yourself trans due to a fad but that I do think it has become one in society at large, and that could be driving some bad decisions and regrets and no way back from it. Celebrities making sure we know they’re raising their kids genderless should make it evident.

Okay. No swearing. I find your concern about a "surge" of trans teens revolting. It is entirely likely that the surge is based solely on social acceptance, which clearly hasn't even caught up. By your own numbers trans high school student are equally as likely to be bullied as to contemplate suicide. I already said I don't think it's a good idea to influence young children, but by high school ... I knew who I was. To me it is far more concerning how society sees people who are trans. You don't seem all that concerned about that, and I question the reasons why.

AT no point did I say dismiss their opinion dipshit. I said not to prop it up as if it's a more valuable opinion - because they have a _VERY_FUCKING_OBVIOUS_ vested opinion. Do you know what vested interest means? Apparently not.

So again, if we just asked people that are on social welfare for their "expert" opinion on the subject - what do you think the end result would be? If your answer is "We want more" you would be correct.

Why do you care OP? Does other people being trans affect you somehow? I’ve never understood the need to care what other people do with their lives.

I see you went straight to saying that people on social welfare are all money-grabbers that just want more and more, like you didn't even read my post past the first 18 words. Learn how to read something longer than your average tweet and then respond, if you want to appear like anything other an inept bumbling buffoonish boor that has the intellectual competence of a feral child that was kept locked inside a cupboard by a schizo father for thirty years.

They don’t effect me but that doesn’t mean I can’t have an opinion. I’d venture to guess you hold opinions on things that don’t effect you either. We are on a political discussion board and this is a political topic so why not talk about it..? To use an example anti vaxxers for instance. They may not directly effect you or I but it seems reasonable that we could hold opinions on it and discuss.

I do care about the potentially harmful effects this may be having, as I mentioned before there is a lot of risk involved. Kid is just going through a phase or changes their mind later, no going back. That seems like a death sentence in those instances, an inevitable suicide. There’s a lot of ethical questions involved.

Why don't you educate yourself on the topic before asking others to have a reasonable discussion with you. Hell, why don't you educate yourself on any fucking subject you create a thread about?

You don't fucking know shit and therefore your opinion is based on shit and everyone except you understands this, why don't you?

Addresses 0 of the points brought up, but he has an opinion. An opinion that could effect his own fucking kids. This is the type of stuff he wants to roll around in, just because it doesn't effect him directly. I'd hate to be his kids.

This is a scary and dangerous push that seems to be going on.

I take it that you are worried your kids are going to come home and tell you about the latest fad that they are in to and this is going to be it. I wouldn't be too concerned about, if they're trans then they're trans.

You'll get over it.

According to an ATOT post of his, his children are about 4 and 7 - in the dinosaur phase. AKA far more in advance of him in terms of maturity.

My kids are 10 and 14 and not in a dinosaur phase.

You mentioned I haven’t addressed the points that have been made, what would those be?

And Shane, saying educate yourself...that’s half of why we discuss on here is it not? I realize most of you guys know everything about everything but for us lowly ignorant folk we enjoy good discussions as a way to explore and educate ourselves on different topics. I think more humbleness would serve many of you well, some of you guys come across as "know it alls" and crude ones at that. I’m not an expert on anything (mortgages maybe) but I don’t see that as a weakness.

If I’m wrong or off base I absolutely welcome y’all to change my mind, it’s why I even post here to begin with. You won’t do that by telling me how ignorant I am, cursing, and repeating over and over that I’m "concerned" though.

(his lines as a title:
My 4 and 7 year old are obsessed with dinosaurs
)

So let's start fresh. Any other lies you want to come clean about before we begin? C'mon now. Do you think the rest of the word is that fucking stupid. We aren't.

Quoting for prosperity:

My point is you are an untruthful sack of shit, why should any of us believe a fucking word out of your mouth, you lie about the age of your own children... repeatedly ... not just one lie to protect them ... all kinds of lies to support your position. We fucking god damned see you. Give it up.
