Two idiots...

First, walking my dog today. I pass an Elementary and Middle school. They recently were zoned to allow an ethnic area of the county to come to them.

I see this huge woman with a big white Armada...all the doors are open including the tail gate and she's booming a song with lyrics "I want to fuck you girl" and other great bits. This was in front of the middle school, but still.

She's got two kids in the back dancing around to the music.

As I pass I ask her "don't you think that's a bit inappropriate for kids?".

She said "Doncha be tellin' ME how to raise my awesome people...fuck you it's on the RADIO!".

I guess she didn't get the memo about satellite radio.

I said "wasn't trying to affect your 'derogatories', but there are about 20 kids playing in this PLAYGROUND who probably don't need to hear it".

She started swearing at me and got mental so I bailed and called my police department.

Next on my commute there was a dumbass just tooling down I95 at like 40mph. Traffic is all backed up around him. As he exits he blows through two stop lights and proceeds to haul ass down a 45mph road. Two cops were behind me a ways and once they broke out of the congestion nailed his ass.

I don't get the whole driving slow on the fast roads and then blowing through neighborhoods and slow roads where there is a ton of entry and exits.

Hmm not really...I just pay attention when out and about. I guess I am just out more than most people. However; with the two schools around my home and the kids getting bussed in they sort of make for interesting mixes...like the 5 that were skipping school to break into houses during the day.

I was just thinking, I am willing to be this lady is the same type that bitched about the Katy Perry skit on Sesame Street.

I used to work with a guy who drove 60, period. It didn't matter if he was a in 75 zone on the freeway or driving through town. We stopped letting him drive company cars.

I can deal with that a lot more than driving slow on the freeway and fast in neighborhoods.

The parking lot next door borders ours and is separated by a chain link fence. People tool down the access road like 20mph (posted 35) and then when they turn into the parking lot they fly down it at like 40.

Most of them I know I have pissed off by both passing them and then not slowing down for the bumps going into the lots (my car is lowered, but it's set up that below 60 or so I am not really ever going to 'bottom out'). I keep a steady 15-20 through out.

They fly past me in the adjacent lot looked the whole time...it's funny especially when they come to a screetching stop as someone walks out or backs up.
