Jewell got screwed. The guy is a Hero but still treated like he was the bomber.

Huh? No one said we needed to. They aren't banned, but the moderators prefer that you link to them instead of embedding them so that we aren't forced to see them. If you embed them anyway then expect moderator action.
 
The big question now is how correct is the NYPost? They are the only major news outlet saying there are more than 2 dead (and the only ones talking about a specific suspect).
 
I keep thinking that the death toll is going to rise. Seeing some of the injuries may not make it despite getting near immediate trauma care.

Situations like this develop so quickly that there won't be an accurate picture for a couple days, no matter what media a person trusts/agrees with politically/has the hottests anchors/etc.
 
Saw interviews with people on site that stated they saw many people missing limbs, open compound fractures and obvious DOA's. Also saw on stretcher one fellow with no legs under blanket and another person receiving full CPR chest compressions. I live near Boston, and all the local stations had cameras live at the explosion and kept running. It was a bad memory, like watching the start of the 911 attacks which I also watched. It's disturbing.

It is definitely really hard picturing only two people being dead given the amount of destruction in the pictures/video.

The portion of people with critical injuries has to be incredibly high.
