We're all narcissists here. But it takes really special pathetic person to create an alt account for Internet forum to validate themselves. How many different alt accounts do you have here?
Not everyone on here is a narcissist btw, it's funny you think that while admitting you are. People do like to share their experiences and talk about them, but that's like a lot of the internet, this does not mean anyone that posts social media type posts, whether here or on actual social media, is a narcissist. I mean squirrel posts updates on his land and his home projects and his life, but nobody thinks he is a narcissist.
I'm just here to correct the FUD. Bill Gates has done some good things just like Elon Musk. But I'm tired of Elon Musk only cares about money and don't want to pay taxes or give to charity bullshit that seems to be the current talking point since he's become the richest person on earth.
I have strong interest in all things food and Tesla. So I talk about both a lot. It's true I probably wouldn't have achieved financial independence and early retirement if not for Elon. But no one gave me any charity including Elon. I earned every penny. Tesla hasn't been the easiest investment to hold over the years. It's a miracle I held on when everyone was telling me how stupid I was to believe in Elon Musk and Tesla. How I was going to lose all my money because Tesla was a scam and headed towards bankruptcy. People were actively hoping and praying I would lose money. It's pretty damn sad.
Of course I'm not the only millionaire here. There are over 22 million millionaires in the US and almost 10% of all adults in the US are millionaires. That's a large percentage. But I know none of you who love to talk about my money are millionaires. Over the years, I've constantly pounded the table on Tesla stock and how it was once in a generational company and stock. I've made it no secret I was all in on Tesla and shared that info here for many years. So it should come as no surprise when I promote and talk my book. And as Tesla achieved massive success, I've also greatly financially benefited. I've been open book with Tesla. I have strong and large financial incentive to see Tesla succeed in their mission.
I can sort of understand why you hate Elon Musk. He personally rejected you for a job at SpaceX. So it's likely personal with you. But for people with no personal or financial ties? They need to laugh and not take Elon on Twitter so seriously. He's on there to have fun just like most of us here.
Cult members can't help but cult folks. Take this all as a learning opportunity.
You stating that nobody here that talks about your money is a millionaire is just more proof of what I pointed out - money is your primary value system and the main way you value people - which you have done before in P&N calling anybody that disagreed with you as POORS - it's kind of sad and gross. What's funny is you have no problem talking about billionaires when you aren't a billionaire, so you can't even be consistent with your point.
I mean even in discussions about healthcare, you don't like the system, but it's always put into a framework of how it is unfair to YOU. I mean people are just calling out what they see.
As far as Elon just having fun - yes, trying to buy a company for 43 billion is for fun, and spreading culture war nonsense and being a hypocrite about so many things whilst having so much influence and he knows it - yes that is just fun. Him and his cult members, especially the ones with no real empathy but only give a shit about money, they are bad for America.
