It's more like the far left are worried that he may actually care about free speech. If it was 100% determined he is not, they would not be so riled up about this and it would be a non issue to them. They do not like the idea that people can freely express themselves without consequence, because it means that people are going to be allowed to have different opinions, and we can't have that!

I'm on a forum where BabylonBee material gets posted with regularity, and it's consistently unfunny. There's been a couple that had good source material to work with, but they fucked it up with the presentation. I trend to conservative/libertarian(NOT fuckin' Trumptard!), so it isn't a negative preconceived bias. Their stuff just sucks. Nice logo though. It would work well for an artisan soap company or something :^D

My coworker tries to send me BabylonBee webpages. I clicked the first and say the "conservatives are being silenced" i did not even read the article after that. Typical we are the victim mentality.

It's like The Onion for conservatives, more or less. The video this thread is about was posted there, too.

First we know there is no free speech in the US and words do have consequences. I for one do not want ISIS beheading videos on twitter but you do and you want it without consequences, why?
I'm sure a lot of Q crowd are just looking forward to the kiddy porn and rape videos. You know free speech with no consequences.

Can't stand Musk, have no interest in Twitter.

Most of our media are owned and controlled by super-rich right-wing knobheads, I don't see why one would expect Twitter to be any different.

Yeah, that's how it goes. I've lost count now of the number of vast media empires we have that all consider themselves to be the lone voice bravely standing up against monolithic liberal orthodoxy. There's Murdoch's Empire, the rest of the right-wing press, GB News, LBC...

Meanwhile 'the left' has...um... the Daily Mirror? The light-entertainment and comedy departments of the Beeb? (not news and current affairs - that's stuffed full of Tories, just for some reason the BBC constantly struggles to find any funny or entertaining conservatives)

I find both liberal and conservative humor really bad. Both sides seem to ignore facts and actual reality. Sometimes bits are funny and make you laugh and sometimes they don't...

Most media is tiresomely left-wing....except for fox news and the even worse fox news clones....blah.

Seen SNL lately?
Yes and not every skit is funny but they have hit gold a lot of times this season. Did you not watch this one?

This one was also solid

After watching this one my daughters were quoting Inventing Anna all week.

This is one of those hilarious "This is what conservative media says is happening in order to create a sense of righteousness, but in reality nobody really cares" type things. It's like The War of Christmas Pt. 82

The most disturbing trend of 2022 is how everyone is lining up behind their billionare/corporate champions in the culture war and acting like they weren't all ready to kill and eat billionaires and corproate conglomerates a few years earlier.

Between all the absurd Disney/Florida revenge fantasies and now the Musk/Twitter revenge fantasies we're heading into a bizarre new world of corporatocracy.

If it were my jam, I'd say the Pedophile Jewish Illuminati Reptile Mole People Deep State just upped their game from 5D chess to 6D chess.

Musk doesn't care bro. He's just in it to...I dunno, maybe pick a fight with Zuckerberg as the other megainfluencer in the world...

What I found funny the most was the fact that yes, many experiencing bowel movements probably do have a Tesla in the driveway...well maybe if they didn't buy them....;)

There is point. There is counterpoint. Then there is the missed point that actually matters. I learned that after the Brian Flores. The mainstream sports up the points sympathetic to SJWs while Outkick focuses on the contrarian. However...neither doxxed John Mara for being on the committee of diversity with Art Rooney, Kim Pegula, etc or called for Mara's removal from that org. That betrays the actual behind-the-scenes purpose of the lawsuit. A mouthpiece of the diversity committees future intentions and other owners must comply or get publicly humiliated (and falsely so), along with the pleiotropic purpose of derailing Tom Brady's Miami plans and killing the news cycle of bombshell testimony regarding the Washington Football team the next day.

In reality, most lay people do not care about rights per se. They care about mapping out their ideals through "rights" because the legal system is not quite the same as morality, thus a "translation" has to be made for moral or other aim into legal coding.

No, it really isn't.

I have no idea who that is, and don't really care. Nor do I care what it is they've done to bring upon themselves the Ire of Musk (presumably they are someone who said something negative about Musk or Tesla?).

But you do illustrate how oddly sycophantic Elon Musk fans tend to be. Quite a weird tribe.

Odd you would not know who Bill Gate is.

This ilustrate what Musk want's to do with twitter. A shit show.
The kind of political discourse republican want. Widely spreading hatred for anything they disagree with.
Hope he fails.
The fkr made fun of people flying UA flags for f sake.

Hey, I don't think I've seen a picture of the guy since the early '80s!

Not really sure what the point is of a puerile tweet mocking him for, of all things, his weight, though. Still less how anyone could describe such a bit of irrelevant nonsense as 'best tweet ever'. Unless they were an obsessive worshiper of all things Musk.

I do find it funny how everyone on the left used to hate Gates for being a ruthless capitalist (and faux-meritocrat beneficiary of the US's class system) ...then he gets worried about his "legacy" and decides to improve his image before it's too late and starts getting into charitable causes like vaccine programs...only for crazy people on the right to then start hating him as some sort of evil head of the New World Order conspiracy instead. Guy can't catch a break.

Musk is just a nasty piece of work - the same kind Gates once appeared to be, ironically.
