Hey, you provided the PM conversation which has the same setiments as this thread.

That being said, I think the argument has shifted from whether or not they exist to what Chunkee really has.

In any case, cheers, peace, shalom 🙂

It is shifting, I do agree, but considering I am not fully convinced via links provided, the easiest way to find a valid part number is from an existing 9800 non pro BBA, correct? Chunkee is the only one here that can provide that number that i'm aware of. You can feel free to change the name from Chunkee to anyone else here that has a BBA 9800 non-pro.

The easiest thing to do would be to shoot yourself and stfu you troll.

And no your 9800 np or whoever the hell it is is not worth $270-$280.

Wow, you have no clue what you are saying, please read the thread.

I love how i'm a troll now too.

Just so you don't actually have to read (boy, imagine that)...the 270-280 is the price difference from 400$ that i would value a used 9800.

man, although Tweak155 is probably misinformed about the 9800np, I have to agree w/ him about how most people are being immature pussies.

Ok, some of you are trying to find links/proofs to show Tweak155 that there is indeed a Non-Pro version of this card, but the rest who just jump on the band wagon and say "END YOUR LIFE NOW, STOP POSTING ON AT" are just plain retarded.

Why can't someone who has an official ATI brand Radeon 9800 NON PRO video card just give him the serial or part # so he can look it up and put an end to all this nonsense.

Chunkee, you obviously are pretty immature about this (even though you are 100% right about there being a NP version) having to bring this to the open. Just b/c you're dealing w/ a stubborn person doesn't give you justification to bring this out into the open and start attacking him. Sheesh, grow up dude.

ProVantage does. In fact they say they have 357 of them. Gave them a call to verify that it is a BBA product. Turns out it is infact BBA. 🙂

Good enough?

if chunkee provides you with that number, how can he prove that number wasnt forged? if he sent you a picture of the number, how can he prove it wasnt photoshopped?

i think the real question is whether we can prove chunkee exists. maybe he's a figment of our imagination.

i think a certain level of trust needs to come into play.

I'm not sure why people have decided to let you off easy now, but:

if they built it, you should be able to link me to a place i can buy it...hmmmmmmmm, having trouble?
That says sapphire all over it ... wow, good job yet again
ATI never actually made a NON-PRO version (of any card) that i'm aware of...so i'm assuming its a sapphire...
In neither of the links you provided does it state if its is built by ati or sapphire...so i'll just assume powercolor, how is that? oh, but of course you can assume it's in your defense, correct?

all of those prove that you were indeed trying to argue that ATi never made a 9800 non-pro. You were proven wrong many times over. Now the only thing left is for Chunkee to prove he owns one these ATi 9800s.

Yes and no. I would prefer calling ATI but you did make the effort to call the reseller. I will consider myself wrong at this point but I would still like a part number (if possible) from someone that has one.

Furthermore, I believe requesting a part number is not in bad trading habits whatsoever, it is still self protection from the many trolls out there, although chunkee will obviously never trade with me.

That being said, anyone looking to upgrade to a 6800 GT 🙂

Ok, perhaps you aren't immature, I'll give you that, honestly I don't know you at all, so I can't possibly judge you.

But the fact remains that you couldn't get someone to agree with you on an argument which you had in private, and now you had to bring it out into the open, trying to humiliate him. To me, that's not very good character for a seller/trader. If he was being tough, then just don't trade w/ him, simple as that, there's no need to bring this into the open and start ridiculing him.

I never tried to call you a liar or a fraud, and i'm sorry you got that impression, you shouldn't get so defensive, I was merely getting a price for you to work with, and that makes me the bad trader? I had no problem with getting a sapphire over a BBA product (or visa versa)...the sapphire price is more readily available than a BBA product (via pricewatch). I requested a link to it online, via pm, so I could better give you a price request than the original that was built off of a different product. I believe you should receive a value of what you have. Sorry.

well, the only reason i said stubborn was b/c there was a pretty sizable amount of proof that the ATI card does exist, but I yeah, that's not really the point, I was just trying to figure out how or why everyone is just jumping on the band wagon to put you down. I honestly have not seen you say or do anything that would be considered an attack on someone....everyone seems to call you a "moron" or some version of it, yet you have refrained from retailating back.
