**I'm not the OP, but I do love BACON**

Wow I think we found our new troll. You have like half the posts on the first page of ATOT with only 83 posts, you joined this month, you post about things that are intended to get obvious reaction. And to top it all off, you have a user name that will come in handy at some point!

Yeah this is going to end well.

Let's talk about bacon instead of Turin.

I like how the article starts off by saying "The shroud could only be reproduced using LASERS!!!", when every article I'm seeing says the shroud is carbon dated to the 13th-14th century and could easily be reproduced with materials available at that time.

So?

Scientists say lots of things that are idiotic.
I once heard one say that gravity moves at the speed of light.
If gravity moved at the speed of light, how come I don't float off the ground at night?

YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN THAT!

To clarify: AppleFanboy just joined yesterday. o_O

Idea: Every time AppleFanboy tries to post anything it should just get thrown into the nef thread. (Or XOR'd with a random number generator's output, then deleted.)

they only managed the effect by scorching equivalent linen material with high-intensity ultra violet lasers

UV light, huh? Next experiment to try:
1. Take two pieces of linen.
2. Cut an image of a man out of one.
3. Lay that piece over the top of an un-cut piece.
4. Lay them out in the sun for days, weeks, or months.
5. Compare to the Shroud of Turin.
6. ???
7. Profit!
