Well, I hope I remember in a week, but memory seems to think 3 ghz.(copying this from Zen 6 speculation thread)
Do you recall what the average core clocks were with WCG Mapping Cancer Markers? (Or if not, would be nice if you could look this up after the PG challenge.)
edit: I just went and looked to be sure I did not mis-speak. For the 9755 QS Its 2.15-2.2 for the 9755 full avx-512 load.
edit2: whats interesting, my early 9555 ES is also 2.15-2.2 at full avx-512 load.
edit 3: 9554 same conditions, 3.5 ghz all of these are NO SMT, but all core utilized with the same load. Zen 4 with the 1/2 avx-512 does run a lot faster. Let me check average processing times for these loads. Back in a bit.\\times (these are only close as loads can vary a little)
9554 8:20
9555 8:45
9755 also 8:45
what is obvious is that the full avx-512 of Zen 5 makes up for the slower CPU speed under load. ghz is not everything. If the cpus were not under 100% load, I venture to say the Zen 5 implementation would be a lot faster ETA wise for a avx-512 task.
OK, looking at Zen 6 Venice it will be interesting as to how this pans out for the Venice implementation.
