Funny.

It was a few weeks ago, and I planned on looking at the bottle but it got ditched

It was actually Labruscato.... a mix of Labrusca wines from a winery in PA.

My wife and I ended up picking up the Lambrusco Riunite that you mentioned, tonight. :wine:

question: I've never liked the taste of wine, maybe it's because it was the cheap stuff. But, does expensive wine or champagne taste better than cheap wine/champagne?

It really depends on you. Certain wines I like better than others, certain beers I like better than others, kinda like that.... except I dont have as high class taste as others might so it would differ yet again.

Try boone's farm if you just want it to be "tasty" or better yet a wine cooler. But with a nice big steak I will take a red wine anyday.

Well first off, wine and champangne are very different tasting to begin with.

Now only speaking of wines, even whites will all taste different. Serving certain wines at the wrong temperatures also make them taste poorly....certain food/wine combos are terrible together, etc.

In general, cheap wines are less than $5 per bottle and the upper are over $10 per bottle....with premiums in the $20+ bracket, in the upper range you have a wide range in price. Certain types of wines are more expense also....depending on the grape used.

Most premium alcoholic beverages will have a better and smoother taste...lesser quality drinks taste more like alcohol than the flavors used to make them....as the ingredients improve and/or more aging is allowed (only some types should be aged at all, and aging length of time depends on a lot of things too) better flavor results.
