I'm currently due for my 2 year upgrade through Verizon, and my Samsung SCH-T300 is getting a bit dated.
I'm currently leaning towards the Samsung SCH-A670.
I can get it for $29.99 with a 2 year contract and my $100 discount. I looked at the LG VX700, but it was a good deal more @ $80, and I really don't have much of a need for the extras it provides.
My only concern is a lot of these new phones are all digital, and while I have digital coverage in my immediate area (southern NH), it looks like if I go north much my phone will be useless.
The only phone that looks decent, and is still tri-mode is the Samsung SCH-A650, but it has no camera and a non TFT screen.
My cell phone is also my primary phone as I got rid of my land line years ago, so a decent phone is important to me. Features like wireless web access and IM capability are useless to me, so I more concerned with call quality and performance. From the reviews I've read, the A670 does very well on call quality and decent on battery life.
Any input from current Verizon users?
Also, I could get the Motorola V710, but $150 is a waste for the features I'll never use like bluetooth, etc.
