Post a guitar rock song that isn't ridiculously complex, perhaps a time range of a song you want to hear a riff from, and I will record it and post it. If your post is quoted I will record the clip. Please no solos, learning a solo note for note is kind of silly and not very innovative, I will add my own flare to it.

If this sucks, this thread will be about cottage cheese.

Omerta by Lamb of God. It took me about a week and a half to master it and about another week to master hitting all the pinch harmonics. But I'm still prettymuch a beginner since I've been only playig for 4 months. I recorded it and was going to post it a few days ago, but I was afraid it would violate some legalities, so I refrained.
Also, King by Fireball Ministry is pretty easy too.

If someone wants to host, I'll put up a clip of me trying to play the solo in Creeping Death by ear. :D

Send it to me

Here it is. Thanks to CorpRec for hosting. I had made a few run throughs prior to recording this, so it's not too bad, but no where near as accurate had I looked at the solo tabbed out. Enjoy.

Moby Dick (lol fat dongs)
Sloppy solo outtake (lol fvcked up solo and just kept recording jibberish that followed in my stream of conciousnes)

I'm bored, give me something to play (I'm in drop D now, will move if request tickles my fancy).

Also fvck PRS for taking forever to send me my new bridge pickup.

They got it in the studio, but the lead gutarist for the band couldn't even get it right all the time when they started touring, so they had to drop the intro from their live shows :D I have the flac so I could convert to mp3 but no host atm.

You people are too hard on yourselves :) Have some confidence!!!! I hate watching myself play too because all I see is "that's a mistake...that's another one...and another...", but to the average listener, they're thinking "Wow! That's pretty good!" 99% of people out there don't have the ear or the eye to spot bad technique, so just go with it ;)
