I tried them a while back. Pretty good service. You may have to listen to a lot of songs to find bands you like since they don't have the major labels/artists.

The music is NOT limited to 128kbps. I just listened to three songs and all were encoded at 320VBR.

Has anyone used emusic recently? I'm considering signing up for it but I'm not quite sure... It looks like the deal is dead though. Only 25 free tracks now.
