His nominee to head the Council on Environmental Quality is a Koch brothers funded lobbyist with. PhD in comparative religion. Seems about par for the course.

The damaging legacy he is going to leave for sciences in all areas is going to be brutal. And we thought he went quick to reverse everything Obama did. When he's gone it'll be dizzying how fast his history is wiped out.

My hope is that history looks at this period of time as the dark ages only to be followed by the age of enlightenment. I think it will be possible once the baby boomer generation starts dying off in droves.

Lol! You prove my point perfectly! We get it, it's not your fault, it was the generation before you that started it and its the generation after you that hasn't fixed it. Lets completely ignore the fact that government has been run by old white men for decades, voted in by old white people for just as long and it was a majority of old white people who went for trump.

Things will get interesting when the boomers die, I'm pretty sure this generation is more entitled than the last. If the boomers weren't entitled enough, no telling how things will go when my generation realizes they only get what they earn instead of think they deserve.

In my experience the millennial generation is entitled when they feel they work hard (the key phrase is "when they feel"). However unlike the boomer generation they don't exhibit the "I'm entitled to X, because I think so" mentality.

I think the keyword hits the nail on the head but in my experience they always feel like it. Genx might be worse than any of them, they seem to complain more than most, on the other hand could be mid life crises.

That's actually the only way I watch "TV". No way in hell I'd pay money (somewhat sadly, still do, but at least it also helps PBS) to be forced to watch commercials or pay more money to be able to fast forward through them.

I noted right away the state of certainty in which ivwshane posted and felt sympathy for his obvious deep need to offend somebody so I just couldn’t resist giving him the satisfaction he had deeply wounded and triggered me. Naturally, out of respect for our culture’s implicit and often explicitly expressed tweed to express modesty I couldn’t just cone out and tell him either into which generation my birth put me, nor the fact that whatever that generation is, it will be centuries in the future before folk of my evolutionary development will be typical. It is just one of those odd quirks of fate that I am as evolutionarily advanced past him as he is the cockroach. Please keep this between you and me.
