I don't get it, the legal system allows drawing up contracts with fake names? How does that work since either side can claim, that's not me.

There's an addendum filing that identifies the parties and the pseudonyms being used. It's actually fine.

Also the fact Trump didn't sign isn't that important. She accepted the payment under the understanding it was for the purpose of non disclosure and operated under that agreement for a year and a half. I think what will matter here is did Cohen void portions of it by acknowledging the agreement existed and that she was paid.

They are claiming the NDA is blackmail. If they prove she signed it under duress it make the entire document invalid. Trump's lawyer may get the money back but that won't matter. Stormy will make 10x that much telling her story.

I’m no lawyer but I do remember something from a basic business law class.
Anything you intend to be your signature is your signature.
Goes back to the days where many were illiterate and singed with an X or a check mark.
Could be related to that.

Trump would never go to jail, ever. Pence would pardon him. Even if Trump burns the Pence bridge, Pence would pardon him. No President is going to allow that happen to the Presidency.

If Trump was smart he’d draft up a good & legit agreement where he says I’ll give you 1 million now and 500k per year for the next 10 years and you Stormy agree to not talk to the press, appear on any shows or movies.
But Mr. Krabbs is far too cheap to do that
