What's with the deflection? I never said GOP control is the issue here. The demand is impeachment for Trump's solicitation and utilization of foreign interference in our elections. Both in 2016, and now also 2020 as he has clearly and publicly indicated he would do.

Using foreign governments to meddle in United States internal matters, with something as crucial to our democracy as free and fair elections, is an escalation beyond the pale. If such criminal actions result in lawlessness, and such lawlessness cannot be corrected through elections, then the next obvious step in escalation is to drop civil discourse altogether. To use force.

Where this escalation leads is the very subject we have been speaking of. What bothers me about this discussion is that you are either in denial, or cheering it on. You're telling me you wouldn't be bothered by civil unrest throughout the nation? There is no place in the CONUS we could hide to escape the consequence of such actions.
