I think that the gang from Sesame Street should be immediately dispatched as our official poll watchers during this election. BB can stare at voters and go "WOW" and Cookie Monster can try to eat Republican ballots to help keep America safe.

Of course you would, because that's that kind of thing that an idiot incapable thought would do. When you can't evaluate anything for yourself, just blindly substitute the party affiliation for your evaluation.

Did your parents teach you to name call instead of conducting an intelligent conversation?

You obviously wouldn't have any idea what an intelligent conversation sounds like since you've likely never engaged in one. You're the one suggesting to blindly vote for everyone based simply on their party affiliation, I don't think you have much room to talk about intelligent conversations! ;)

This is the level of conversation I expect from knuckle dragging apes like yourself.

This sick, twisted, let the world burn as a Thursday-evening-prime-time-entertainment version of myself would love a president like this that actually tweets out such things regularly. No one can say it wouldn't be entertaining (if we could all get past the nightly bed-wetting after living in such an unpredictable world)
I've likened that feeling to the deep down part most of us have in our minds that whisper, "a zombie apocalypse would be pretty cool.."
You know, the part that doesn't think things through.

I don't know if the guy who says he discounts all academic research because it's part of a leftist conspiracy is exactly the person to be complaining about substituting party affiliation for evaluation.

I'm all for scholarly fact based evidence. The fact that you are so quick to judge tells me that you are an avid church goer. Say do you believe that Jesus is God?

Uhmm, I was referring to Pokerguy, not you?

He has said the media is biased against conservatives and then when presented with research to the contrary said he doesn't believe it because universities are liberal.

I'm so sorry I quoted the wrong person. See I'm not too big or proud to admit my mistake.

Twitter hilarity ensues.

Someone came up with a suitable caption for this pic:

Is it just me or does anyone else think she looks like Steven Tyler in drag in this pic? :D

I need to confess something.

Overall, I like Hilary slightly more than Trump. But I have to admit a certain morbid fascination with seeing him in the Oval Office. Dont get me wrong, I'll be the first to start researching bomb shelters tomorrow morning, but I damn sure wont be lacking for entertainment. And saturday night live will be plenty busy.

I feel exactly the same way. I hate Trump but omg it would be 4 years of pure entertainment if he wins. Just think of the staff he'll probably pick for more non stop laughs: Palin, Christie, Guliani

Since you don't know tit about the politics in our country, you might be interested to learn that the GOP controls roughly 65-70% of state and district public seats--meaning legislatures and Governorships (which, by the way, sit at something like 85% for the GOP).

This alt-right belief of some "massive liberal" wave in this country is pure nonsense that doesn't stand up to the most cursory scrutiny. There is no power or even mandate in this country to ever support any kind of "unrestricted progressive movement." It's reality distortion at its most hilariously uninformed. But when you depend on Twitter for your "news," it shouldn't surprise anyone that none of you have a clue about what is going on.

Basically, you and your kind are so oblivious to the reality on the ground that you are frightened by your own shadow.
How many people are in these areas? Because areas like North Dakota are not people-heavy at all.
The is a lot of Republican "land" in Maryland. But there so many more people who lean Democrat concentrated in the areas of PG County, Montgomery, and Baltimore City. And the results in Maryland speak for itself. Democrats rule, and have always ruled the state of Maryland. The Republican governor there is just an aberration when the voters are tired of the status quo but they are Democrats at heart.

Also, the small newspaper in these supposedly Republican strongholds are not read outside of the locals. Whereas, the New York Times or the Washington Post is a respected national publication. And the press is controlled by the leanings of the reporters, not the sheer mass of people in the country.
