Nah, fuck that. I have zero doubt Turmp would sacrifice his kid.

Until Betsy DeVos is willing to go to an overcrowded school, with no masks, and stay there for as long as school is in session, they should not be opening schools. Hell, let's see her do that even with a mask mandate for everyone with zero tolerance.
There is a fucking problem when the head of education in this country hasn't set foot in any kind of school since she was a student.
But we have a postmaster general that has never been in a post office, except to maybe buy some stamps.
Or we have a Commander in Chief that used money and power to avoid ever setting foot on a military base.

Pretty dark and I kind of agree. The President doesn’t appear to like Melanomas’ kid. He appears to only like Ivanna’s kids.

There's already been a couple cases of teachers testing positive here in FLA, and that is likely to accelerate. I think a month or so after schools open they might just be screeching to a giant halt--at what point do they not have enough teachers for the students? My impression is, "they already don't".

My youngest is starting high school and thankfully our school system offers a virtual option. We took it, he isn't happy about it--we aren't happy about it--but neither do I want to send him to a daily covid party. If Florida wasn't 9,000 degrees with daily thunderstorms maybe you could do classes outside, which would be far safer.
Our local school district is offering a virtual option. With mandated IN PERSON tests. Don’t take the tests in person? Automatic fail.

We have expanded from homeschooling one of kids to all 4. Just opting out entirely of the school district options.

well, that escalated quickly...

"Coronavirus cases lead over 800 to quarantine in Georgia school district where masks not required"

of course if our testing capability was closer to where it should be, quarantines more than a couple days wouldn't be needed.
It's now 1,000

I don't know how many more experiments we need to run checking if the virus is vulnerable to moronic levels of confident bluster but it would seem to be quite a lot unfortunately.

i'd say the appointment of Scott Atlas as Trump's newest Coronavirus adviser guarantees that.
