tbh when Flynn turned from an apparently once-esteemed agent to a crazy guy and potential white supremacist no one trusted, I thought a lot of it was just partisan BS. Russian blackmail makes a lot of sense though, especially considering the line of work. A warning late last month means after inauguration though, would there be anything prohibiting an AG from informing a presidential candidate of a bad nominee after the election?

Trump probably realized that holding on to Flynn would be cancerous... of course, having any association with him could still be dangerous if there's any indication that Trump or other senior staff knew what Flynn was doing.

Also, there's a hilarity to Conway having said that Trump had "full confidence" in Flynn just hours before. Can we all just admit that everything Conway says is a lie?

You thought it was partisan bs? You thought Flynn was a pretty good military guy that the dems just wanted to shit on because he's on the other team? Mattis on the other hand was what? An exception? Can you name another general that has been used as political fodder that has had their sanity questioned? Do you think parties typically engage in bashing particular military personnel for partisan reasons?

I'm just trying to wrap my head around how you originally came to that conclusion. You usually display at least some critical thinking so I'm perplexed.

Anyway, the good news is that because Flynn did this before trump was sworn in as president, he isn't protected by protections presidents and their admins enjoy during congressional investigations so he can be subpoenaed along with any records like communications he may have had.

Oh shit!!!

Winning!!! So much winning, I'm already tired of it!

Lol!!

For some perspective, in all likelihood he was pushed because he made the admin esp Pence look bad, not the russian connection. If that mattered, we wouldn't have a secretary of state who has Russia's Order of Friendship.

Honestly, I don't care what the reasons are I'm just glad another crazy, deluded, right wing nut job is out of the white house.

I guess when trump said drain the swamp he was talking about his own filth! Ahahahaaa!

Sebasitan Gorka was on NPR today talking about how honorable Flynn was. BTW as for Kellyanne it is right there in her last name "Con". We should have known from the start.

Obama should be laughing his ass off, but since he actually cares about the country is probably just depressed over this.

Wow... Spicer should just quit rather than deal with tomorrow's briefing.

"Spicey. You're going to need a bigger podium."

Everything KAC is a lie.

What happens when she looks you in the eye and says "I am lying"?

How many Benghazi hearings and investigations were there?

I think we're about to find out how negligent Congress and the FBI are willing to be.

How about Conway? She went on tv and declared trump had his full faith in Flynn only to be contradicted like an hour later.

Part of me suspects that the contradiction had to do with the NYT story that the admin was warned by the DOJ about Flynn last month.

Bring charges against Flynn for leverage. Put him against the wall of the rest of his life in prison or revealing all the rest of the Russian excrement in the white house. Trump losing bigly.

There are a lot of powerful interests not terribly motivated to make sugar daddy look bad. They're all going to be on the wrong side of history when we look back at it, but they don't care because we know conservatism will reward loyalty over anything.
