He's started to melt down and we haven't even gotten to the general.

I guess his campaign by tweet strategy is not working out so well.

I guess he thought he could get away with accusing all of the news organizations and now courts as being biased against him as a campaign strategy. Just looks like a big cry baby. So much for the bully façade.

Even more astounding are the numbers that faun over the media gotcha game. "You had better be consistent or we will blackmail you." God I love watching him destroy those slobbering media moment of the dat ratings chasers. The media is part of the disease. Part of why he may be elected is because he's fucking over their game and they keep reporting on it. He's a genius and a master player.

Look at the positives:

I give Trump credit for talking to news shows, he also has no fear even if he knows they'll beat him up. I've heard Trump on MSNBC has Hillary or Bernie done Fox? I just don't know.

He doesn't have a bunch of paid specialists combing thru everything he does

He keeps his talks provocative and many times silly but its interesting and occasionally worth thinking about. Why do we sign all these trade deals and why do they end up so crappy for us?
Why doesn't every country in NATO pay their minimum share?

He's kept big money on the sidelines and has yet to attend one of those "Donor Events" where the candidates essentially gather to blow all the big money people at some ski lodge in Utah.

He tweets stuff, I'm not a twitter guy but those are definitely his words. I'd bet many, many Politicians pay someone to tweet for them

Silly but he hasn't gone to a faire to do something stupid like serve hot dogs.

There is a bunch of crappy stuff with Trump but its not all bad.

Oh please. This is well beyond a media gotcha where someone misspeaks, or ask an unpredicted question out of nowhere (that anyone honestly should be able to answer. E.g., "what magazines do you subscribe to?")

Trump has very blatantly claimed he never said something, and has said things that are 180 degrees apart.

It's not like your participation in any thread is mandatory. There are many I just pass by. If you don't want to talk about Trump's astounding chutzpah & his ability to sell stacked lies, well then, don't do it. I'm sure some are loving every minute of the media break down of his statements but at this point I'm more staggered by how many try to use logic to support a man that can't keep a consistent thought day to day and is obviously using irrationality to win support. Here I've been thinking people have a general value system that is the foundation of their thought process. Perhaps unknowingly they have morals that guide them that prevent see sawing between opposite opinions quickly. In trumps case his values reset depending on what it takes to win whatever the skirmish of the day is. To justify to himself why the messenger is wrong. To relegate a critical thought that stimulates a look at himself to his mental waste bin. He doesn't use rational thought, he seeks to mitigate his pain by diminishing the doubt that comes from social repudiation.

People that feel ostracized, who can't understand global scale policy, and are made to feel "dumb" for not conforming to new social norms embrace the man who stands firm in the salvos of intellectual admonishment.

It's an act of rebellion, but I'm not sure there is an end game. The supporters are relieving pent up emotion but the man leading them is running away from doubt and as much as he wishes the largest win in the world is the key to alleviating his self worth issues, it won't work. Then what happens? We have a man unfit to lead and a populace that turns inward again.

Who am I defending? I'm addressing your actions that I find tasteless and terrible and making it clear that continuing to use them reflects on your character and my opinion of you. I'm actually demonstrating how one forms a reasonable opinion that has little to do with feelings and has to do with a reasonable response to another person's actions.

Claiming undeserved victimhood is what Trump is doing. There is nothing in the release of the documents that shows bias at all. They are what they are & fall rightfully into the public realm.

"Oh, God! I'm being victimized by a Mexican judge because... Wall!" is pure bullshit of the most odious kind. Only those whose thinking processes have been softened up with the absorption of decades of right wing conspiracy theory & bigotry will see it any differently.

Forgive him that & the rest of his self aggrandizing bullshit if you want but don't try to say he's presidential material. The notion is absurd.
