Trump says CNN and MSN are one big lie.

Claiming undeserved victimhood is what Trump is doing. There is nothing in the release of the documents that shows bias at all. They are what they are & fall rightfully into the public realm.

"Oh, God! I'm being victimized by a Mexican judge because... Wall!" is pure bullshit of the most odious kind. Only those whose thinking processes have been softened up with the absorption of decades of right wing conspiracy theory & bigotry will see it any differently.

Forgive him that & the rest of his self aggrandizing bullshit if you want but don't try to say he's presidential material. The notion is absurd.

I was extending the benefit of the doubt that Buck was referring to Trump supporters who have suffered violence.

If he was talking about Trump... then that certainly settles something for me.

The last time you posted just an image, the mod note said "Image only responses are not allowed in P&N." The rule hasn't changed since then. Use your words, please!

apologies. I couldn't think of anything to say and thought the emoji's would suffice. I was wrong.

He is simply trying to inoculate his base to anything that challenges their preconceived notions about reality. Fox News did this for years, decrying the "liberal media" whenever they reported on subjects they disagreed with. Sadly, it is highly effective.

And let's be 100% honest here, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, etc did the same thing to Fox news anything there was reporting about something they did not agree with. You're exactly right, it's highly effective.

Some things will always be highly effective for some part of the population. Just look at something like homeopathy or faith healing or psychics. There are literally millions of people just in the US that believe one or all of those things.

The question is what percentage of likely voters are they? I.e., people who will actually go to the polls in November.

Another point is the fact that there are a certain number of voters Trump loses with every blatant lie, fuck up and insult. No particular event will make any great difference but if you keep piling them on, which Trump is obviously doing and probably will continue doing, the cumulative effect is more than enough to cost him the election.

If he were gaining supporters with every gaff and fuck up, that would be fine, but he's not. So he can only continue to lose supporters.
