I get a good laugh out of Trump trying to weasel his way out of having his face being slapped on the cover of Project 2025 when it's the exact same thing the GOP leadership have been doing with Social Security and every other federal program that assists the needs of the working class folks of America.

The rule states that the board can only certify an election “after reasonable inquiry that the tabulation and canvassing of the election are complete and accurate and that the results are a true and accurate accounting of all votes cast in that election.”

Why would this be an issue. Don't we all want "true and accurate accounting of all votes cast".

We had that in 2020 yet Trump was still trying to steal votes. His own Dir Homeland Security said this was the most secure election in history.

Courts already ruled Trump lost yet he was trying to kick the decision back to Congress.

GA already had the election with 2 recounts yet Trump was calling the Sec of State trying to “find” 11,780 non-existent votes.

Answer this, once courts rule why should a change in electors be pushed back up to Congress? Are you saying wanting to do that has nothing to do with GOP having a state count advantage?

He can try to subvert it, again.

What's important is that he doesn't have a home field advantage at the white house. He's OUT. He can't pull off another J6 coup where he as a prez ignored bunch of phone calls as it was happening.

He stands a much better chance to subvert it this time.

• They have a plan
• They have 70+ known MAGA election deniers in place as election workers in most of the swing states.
• There are likely a lot more unknown MAGA election deniers in place as election workers in who knows how many other states and counties
• While Trump is dumber than a sack of dog shit, there are much smarter people doing the planning the overthrow of the election.
• Trump can call for attacks on boards of election by his mindless supporters to disrupt counts and steal ballots.

The hope is countermeasures to their plan are being implemented.

Bottom line, a single board of election in a backwater rural county with a MAGA plant can prevent a state's results from being finalized. Beyond a certain date without the necessary 270 electoral votes, the decision who won is determined by the House.
