Trump Rally Crashed by Bernie Supporters

I can't stand Trump, but holy fuck, some of you people have chosen possibly the most embarrassing defense I have ever seen. You might as well be saying "Yeah, but she was asking for it with that short skirt!". Really, this seems to the angle that's being run with too, as it's showing up everywhere.

And don't give me the we're not defending it bullshit, we can all understand intent here.

Very selective indignation. The same thing has been on display in several threads here where Trump has suggested and pretty much incited violence to anyone in attendance who is "not with him" to the point that now that is the culture at all of his rallies culminating with someone getting sucker punched. Oddly enough you have chosen NOW to enter the fray and pick sides. It takes two to tango in all of these confrontations up to and including last night. In Chicago all parties involved were very much able and willing hooligans... again... this culture Trump has been cultivating. Zero tears shed or fucks given for the bitches that are now crying about it being turned towards them...

Trump set this tone, encouraging supporters to physically attack protesters and saying he wanted to punch a protester in the face. The fucking blowhard played with fire, and now he's reaping the whirlwind. Karma's a bitch.

Are you kidding? This will help Trump, and hurt Bernie, which will in turn help Trump again, because he has a much better shot against Hillary in the general!

Trump, likely knew cancelling the event would result in violence, which is why he did it.

It just dawned on me: What do you think of the chances The Duck chose the locale on purpose? Chicago? University of Illinois? He has been ratcheting up the rhetoric of violence in recent days leading up to yesterday's rally.

I will not speculate what the motive might have been or whether its objective, if there was any, has been achieved. But it seems to me the conflict must have been foreseen.

It's more than that. Trump's supporters first breached the bounds of civility & he cheered them on for doing it, many times. He deliberately provokes violence & panders to those who hold it in their hearts.

He reaps what he sows.

Personal responsibility is missing from this equation, are you children who need to be told how to behave?

Says a lot about the mentality.

The face of social justice, and of course, its a white man.

And right after (same day) as the trouble in St Louis...

Trump has no chance whatsoever of winning the general election. But really no republican does if democrats come out to vote, and with the supreme court in the balance plus the threat of Trump himself, clearly they will be coming out to vote. That is IF Trump is the nomination, it aint over and Cruz is close, plus the delegates that Kasich and Rubio have will possibly go to Cruz.

Bernie DOES have a better shot at winning than Hillary since she is so universally disliked but half of democrats dont seem to get that. Fortunately Trump is a far greater evil and Bernie or Hillary should be able to easily win. So argue all you want on here guys, it doesnt matter.

I wouldn't completely rule Trump out in the general, especially not against Clinton.

Recent polls show that more than 1/3 of Bernie Supporters won't support Clinton in the general. People are FINALLY tired of picking the lesser of two evils.

Personal responsibility, my ass. The whole LIVs' grievance is that they have been victimized by those other people (e.g. Mexicans, Chinese, Muslims, etc.) Strange as it might seem.

Do you believe in personal responsibility? Hard work, playing by the rules, no handouts. Do you believe in personal responsibility?

I won't rule out The Duck in the general, but if the unthinkable happens, it is not going to be because people will have picked the less of two evils.

Sanders would lose to Trump in a landslide. His supporters caused this feud with Trump. It was Sanders people. The Occupy crowd.

Marked for November.
Frankly, I'd be embarrassed as hell to be a Democrat right now. This is coming from a guy who voted for Bill Clinton. Let's also remember that it is historical sequence for a Republican to win. Your delusion comes from the fact that you don't understand that people are tired of how far liberals have taken us into the abyss, hence the angry electorate.

How many times in recent history have their been 3 consecutive terms of Democrat presidents?

I'm a centrist, but Democrats are slightly favored to win. However, riots, racial unrest and white backlash could put the Republicans in full control of the United States government.

You might want to look up the gamblers fallacy. It's not their 'turn', just as it isn't Hillary's 'turn'.

That's the difference between myself, the other sane ones, and people like him. It's called personal responsibility, or being an adult. Stop trying to rationalize it. There's no justification for acting like that. It's a fucking brain defect, the same one that causes people to get angry and go burn their communities up, causing them not to have work places to go to, just because they got mad. Make all the excuses you want. I'm not buying any of this horse shit reasoning. I'd never consider acting like that. I hear people say things everyday that I don't like. Do I go ape shit about it? No!

No one is saying that it is right to be violent. I am saying it is inevitable and very unsurprising when he fans the flames that it will cause unrest. Your candidate knows what he is doing when he calls Mexicans rapists, all Islam is bad, ban muslims, build walls, punch protesters, talk about his dick size, make fun of the disabled, etc.

Aside from encouraging the punching of protesters, how do any of those things merit violent disruption?

If a viable presidential candidate attacked your religion or your race and wanted to ban your people, perhaps you'd think differently.
