Trump mistakenly says Alabama in path of hurricane. Uses sharpie on NOAA map in effort to not admit he was wrong. (not Onion)

Watch the dates. Trump says it would hit Alabama on September 1st.

Not even close.

He utterly fails the basic rules of crisis communications.

Could you imagine if a there was a war? No one with a brain believes anything he says.

And you guys fall for it every time. Sharpiegate? CNN looks worse than Trump on this one.

Nope. No it doesn't.

Which is a remarkable feat as CNN is a dopey news service, but the POTUS is exposed as a mentally unhinged man-child who is utterly incapable of actual leadership. Again.

How could you possibly say that with a straight face? Of course CNN takes things to extremes, to the point of being silly (Mylasia flight watch...).

But more absurd than the President of the United States who took a sharpie and comically faked a graphic so he could continue to lie through his teeth about a minor mistake?

Worse? Really?

LOL

But....but....#BOTHSIDES!!!!

It is crazy absolutely crazy to expect someone to say they mis-spoke about a hurricanes path. That’s crazy talk.

Amazes me that this Trump weather thing is even news at all.
I mean really....
Would you buy a car from this guy Trump if he told you it was only driven to church on Sundays by a little old lady?
Or, if Trump told you he would give the middle class a yuge tax cut?
Or, if he told the middle class he would give them affordable healthcare, and... for everyone?
Would you believe Trump if he claimed he never screwed around with whores?
Or, that he never screwed daughter Ivanka?
So..... WHY THEN would anyone believe Donald Trump about his weather prediction capabilities?
HE'S NUTZ, and.... HE LIES.
Haven't we long passed that point?

Donald Trump is crazy and insane. Don't let him make the rest of us crazy and insane.
Treat this president like you treat your 4 year old child....
Just smile, nod your head, but keep those kitchen cabinets locked up tight.

This isn't him lying. It's him making a mistake. It's very relevant for 3 reasons.
  1. It's funny
  2. It's a bafflingly idiotic mistake that illustrates his basic incompetence
  3. Instead of admitting a very minor mistake, he's doctoring charts, having the NOAA put out false statements, etc. Do you want a President who can't even own up to a trivial mistake? This one is easy to demonstrate, but how many other errors do you think Trump may have committed that he more successfully covered up by using government resources to falsify public record? Those could be way more consequential.

It's obvious the child in office edited the map with he favorite sharpie. Anyone who defends a person that can't admit to a simple mistake and tries to defend it as fact needs to have their voter registration card taken away from them.

Wait CNN looks worse than the PRESIDENT of the USA who doctored a map and tried to pass it off for a truly petty purpose? Imagine all the illegal shit he is doing or capable of doing and we are none the wiser of.

I regret to inform that he’s back at it again today after a strenuous round of golf.

Alabama Sharpiegate is the new Hotel California. You may check out anytime you like but you can never leave.

LMAO!

"I would very much like to stop referring to this ridiculous story..."

As he is the one who won't let it die, AND continues to tweet about it.

This dude seriously needs to be in a mental institution.

He’s busting out all the trigger words

Flunky...
Failing...
FAKE NEWS
Lamestream...

When will the President run out of his “best words”?

Is this a joke?

Honestly all news should be reporting heavily on this as it’s prima fasciae evidence of the deterioration of the president's mental state.
This post proves how dishonest you really are.

The infection has spread, you've finally gone full pcgeek. Sad.
Running interference for the pubs again. :p
You realize Trump broke the law and CNN is just reporting on a politician who broke the law.

Turkey shoot!

Some media outlets and pundits are pausing to question the rationale of CNN falling right into Trump’s distraction game, which is really what this is all about.

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if a few weeks from now, Trump is handing out sharpies at a campaign rally.

CNN is increasingly dancing to the pied piper President, as are some in this thread.

Distraction from what?

The last thing he fucked up that makes him look like an asshole/moron to 70% of the country.

Really the idea that this is strategy is way overblown when it's clear as day that it's people reading into his obvious petulant narcissism.

Pence staying at one of his properties, allocation of DoD funds toward the wall, the GOP moving to protect Trump from a primary challenger, the NRA, the gun control debate, the EPA...take your pick

Those are all headlining too. The country can handle more than one story at a time.

You're just butthurt at how stupid your lord and slaver looks.
