This thread has been a fascinating study in degenerate psychology. It makes me a little nauseated to see, but it's been instructive. I wonder what it's going to take to make Chiropteran et al admit they were wrong?

It gets worse I'm afraid. All of this is sadly annoying but hopefully most will never see the destructiveness of true evil. What you and I and others need to do is go beyond distaste and look for ways to oppose the nonsense we face.

So what?

He can has zero personal dealings with Russia. A company under his ownership may.

There is no conflict in language here, both statements can be true.

Got it he has zero personal dealings except a company he owns may have personal dealings

The part about requesting more money is false. How do you prove a negative?

Absence of proof is as much as we can get. And there is zero proof, 100% absence, that is good enough for me.

What do you mean prove a negative? I just want you to disprove the NYT story. Multiple independent sources have confirmed that this request was made and several congressmen were briefed on it so to say that there is 100% absence of proof is obviously false. If all the members of the intelligence committee denied the story you would have gone a long way to disproving it.

The DOJ simply saying 'NUH-UH' does nothing to disprove any story, especially considering the reputation that the Trump Administration has for blatant lies. I mean how many times do they have to be busted making bald-faced lies before you stop believing them?

The Trump Organization is a privately held entity entirely owned and for the sole benefit of Donald Trump. If any of the companies in the Trump Organization have dealings with Russia then Trump has dealings with Russia. There's no getting around this.

Unfortunately that is true for pretty much all wealthy people who's entire motivation for existence is to further their own wealth and prosperity regardless of how it affects others.

The president just fired the head of the FBI while he and his associates are under investigation by the FBI for possible collusion with a hostile foreign power.
-snip-

You're claiming Trump himself is under investigation?

Please link me up. Everything I've read/heard says it's some of Trumps campaign staff, not him.

Yeah. Seems to me that was trigger, or at least provided the opportunity. Dems were all mad about the inflated number Comey etc.

Fern

If that's the trigger then why wasn't that given as the reason for firing him? It's especially strange considering the other reasons listed were obvious lies that they had to know would be exposed almost immediately.

At least 6 FISA warrants. Of course the net includes Trump.

Yeah. Seems to me that was trigger, or at least provided the opportunity. Dems were all mad about the inflated number Comey etc.

Of course that wasn't the trigger. Trump found out Comey was too close. Too bad for him, it's not going to stop it, and we have various allies with all the evidence needed to impeach and imprison his corrupt ***.

As I said earlier I understand the Dems angst but in essence they played politics without much thought in calling Comey out too much just now. I don't believe for one minute that this has nothing to do with FBI investigations, but Trump is now using both Republican AND Democrat opinions against Comey for his own reasons. Is not wise to play chicken with Trump the opportunist.

Trump was just going along with the opinions of Democrats. Why are they angry that he reached across the aisle, saw they were right, and now they unjustifiably attack? How bad(sick) are those Democrats?

I will sell to a great many I fear.

WTF What are you smoking? That's false equivalence The excuse by Trump admin was so pathetically transparent and absurd. He's under FBI investigation. He obviously wants to put a stooge like Christie as a replacement and doesn't want a special prosecutor to pursue Trump-Russia. That would mean DOJ, FBI, and congressional investigations are all compromised and a complete joke.

You may want to take another look at Bret Baier's Twitter feed bro...maybe it wasn't smart for the DOJ source to spout off without knowing that the Senate Intel Cmte. also knew about Comey's request...

Haha. That put that idiot in place. You would think they would stop and think, but they just carry on. About 99% of the stuff that comes from this administration is lies.
