He is oblivious and corrupt to the bone. He may even be oblivious to the fact that he is corrupt.
It is almost as if he knows he is old and fat and not long for this world and thus gives crap about the fallout of whatever.. He could set the atmosphere on fire and kill all breating things under the sky and not give a crap about it... If he doesnt get to live on why should anyone else.
He is oblivious, not only to his own corruption but of course to everything, from his missing morals to lack of ANY human qualities.
He is oblivious, because he is the poster child for what we in our materialist society define as "success", where MONEY comes before everything, where he reached all those things. (Money, wealth, and now the ultimate: power, not only to control employees and business partners, but now an entire nation).
A person who was raised like this seeing himself as "the god" who reached everything, the person who is "the most successful of all of them", "better" than you, me, everyone, has never learned to care, or to "give a crap" or never ever had a need to just being critical about his decisions. He doesn't go into a bank trying to make a good impression, say, to get a credit, like normal people. Because he sees himself way above anyone else, because, ironically, he is, now in terms of wealth and power. He doesn't depend on "fitting in" or "making an impression" because it is not him who needs to fit in because he can not lose anything, UNLIKE "normal" people for whom it can be critical how they come across to others, in society. This is why WE make efforts to being nice, showing respect or want to be respected in social interactions because, ultimately, we see ourselves normally either as equal, and sometimes even "lesser" than others. (Example if you apply for a job, or go to school w/ teachers..or your parents...etc...there are"unwritten rules" that make behave "properly")
Now, being a pathological sociopath/narcissist like he is, with a focus on money and wealth as what defines a person, goes BEAUTIFULLY in a society where these things are indeed worshiped! Not only are these things worshiped, he even got confirmed that whatever he did and does must be excellent - because THEY FUCKING ELECTED HIM PREZ OF THE US. It's like the ultimate orgasm for a narcissist/sociopath who relies on the worshiping him by others, who now (more or less) gave it to him in writing and w/ official seal that he is indeed the fucking best human who ever walked the planet..by making him the most-powerful man. Or said differently, a conniption for his pathological sociopath/narcissist mind. "Oh yes, I am INDEED the best human who ever existed and everything I did and ever do is great because the people LOVE me for it!"
And now realize this, then you understand that [he thinks that] corruption, crime, or doing anything bad for him really doesn't even apply. It doesn't *need* to exist since he thinks he doesn't owe anything to anyone, he doesn't even need to evaluate himself WHETHER or not what he does is immoral, criminal, corrupt etc...he is "above morals", "above the law" and above everything. Again, ironically, he technically indeed is: He is the prez! You're looking at a psycho who is now living the wettest dream a psycho can even have!
(No need to mention it, but firing Comey, an act which benefits him and then making it come across like a favour "because of how he handled the Clinton emails" is text-book psychopath: Do something bad/negative...but make others believe you did something great. Classic.)
