this whole mess feels like im watching a live episode of Jack Bauer on "24." seriously! i tune in every day to CNN and ABC just to see how WW3 starts. and more than 100 episodes later, the bad guy hasnt been taken down yet....

Almost anything is "an impeachable offense." I'm more interested in your second sentence. When you say it was "clearly about stopping Trump-Russia" are you referring to anything other than what he said in the Holt interview plus a broad assumption you're making based on circumstance? I don't necessarily disagree with your assumption, but I'm not sure there's enough evidence here to get a bunch of repubs on board with criminal prosecution and/or impeachment.

Huh? Obstruction of justice is not minor. What he did is unprecedented.

It isn't just the interview. I don't know what your definition of "beyond a reasonable doubt is", but I would go as far to say that this is "beyond a shadow of a doubt".

Its all moot anyway guys. Unless the Republicans plan on doing something then nothing will come of this.

yeah, sadly, the (R)'s don't have enough integrity or scruples to slap Teh Donnie regardless of what he does. He could be caught in bed with 2 dead hookers and a group of young boys and they'd find a reason to excuse his behavior...and maybe give him some kind of recognition for it.

It's like he read a biography of Richard Nixon and said, 'yep, i'm going to follow that path'.

It's going to be interesting to see how the FBI reacts, especially if Trump appoints a stooge to replace Comey. I think we are going to see some fun leaks.

This comey thing is so boring, probably because it's related to the very boring obsession with russia.

Think harder.

Comey != democracy

I get it. Russia = democracy, and comey is important to russia, but not identical to russia, and therefore not identical to democracy (obviously). I used = informally.

But if russia = democracy, then what's the problem?

Here's something I think interesting. Comey was invited to talk to the Congressional committee, but he refused and I was concerned that maybe something was said that Comey wanted to keep quiet. After all why wouldn't he want to present his side of the story?

Then I found out that the invitation was for a closed door session, which is completely closed and useless to the public. I just saw this article

According to this he's willing to testify IF it is a public hearing. Yes I want that.

Some people close to Comey have commented that he's prone to documenting what's going down when suspect shit is happening. If Comey wants a public hearing I'm wondering if he has the goods. Either way he deserves to be heard out.
