Silly libtard I'm enjoying your sweet liberal tears because my feels are all that matter to me who cares about our country's crumbling infrastructure we built it once why does it all need to be built again. The uber rich and corporations need all that money so they will create minimum wage jobs.
This type of attitude is such an irony coming from so-called fiscal conservatives. They seem to forget the principal of paying for upkeep and enhancement on a continuous basis as to keep the cost lower than waiting for things to start falling down around us which ends up costing more in lives and economic output.
The condition of our roads and bridges ties directly into the everyday cost in repairs to vehicles (tires and struts are expensive), loss in fuel economy causing people to spend more on gas, takes longer to get places thus increasing your chances of getting in a wreck, and there are other benefits I can't be bothered to think about. Another thing we need to improve in this country is our highspeed rail capabilities including highspeed freight rail reducing the need for so many tractor trailers on the roads and bridges increasing the life span of those roads and bridges and reducing congestion. Can you imagine being able to ship cross country in under a day without the need for airplanes?
