Trump has a live convo with National Asso. of Black Journalists in Chicago - and he actually nails it.

1) Why on EARTH does that matter? Didn't your mom say are you going to fall off a bridge if your friends did?
Why do people with direct knowledge of the event in question matter? For the same reason eyewitnesses matter in trials. Does this really need to be explained or do you think eyewitness testimony doesn’t matter?
2) I don't. You don't either. But you strongly assert they were plants because you dislike Trump. Again, if I were to bet money on it, the cheers were authentic from black journalists. I'm not convinced there were white-faced plants there. If they were black plants, are they plants or just plain supporters? Do you see how dangerous your line of thinking is?
If anything is dangerous here it’s your false representation of my position. Trump campaign staff weren’t plants, they were just there because they are his CAMPAIGN STAFF at a CAMPAIGN EVENT. I imagine we all agree someone’s campaign staff is likely to react positively to them.

So with that in mind do you care to revise your position? If not, why?

It's the exact same thinking pattern that you dislike MAGAers for.

3) I have no idea what this is trying to say.

Yup. I disagree with you and I made myself very clear (against my better judgement) by feeding the trolls.

Do you guys still have more questions after 14 pages?
You decided that by watching a video you could could make an informed judgment as to what happened, including events that happened off camera.

People who actually witnessed the event in person came to a dramatically different conclusion but you discount it. That is inherently absurd.

I'm going to answer you again.

Because I was surprised. Remember I wrote "to my surprise" was what compelled me post it? And it took 14 pages of meltdown of "no one cheered for trump" to now "the cheers you heard was fake/planted".
If it takes you 14 pages to work through your issues we're here for you! We'll be here for 20 pages if needed. Keep going you can get there!

What was factually wrong about what I wrote? We are suddenly now at "The laughs/cheers were there but fake" from "YOU WEIRD TRUMPIST, NO ONE CHEERED EVER OR THEYRE FAKE FOAM AT THE MOUTH".

You got nothing. Relax, I'm voting Kamala. You will eat your dinner tonight too.

strange, really really strange
He’s too dug in and defensive now, very unlikely he would change his mind regardless of the evidence.

This is one downside to a dogpile, once people are subject to one they feel they can’t admit to being wrong because it validates too much criticism of them.

I suspect if some of the first posts told him that people who were actually there think he was wrong he might have admitted it. He’s in too deep now though.

? Unlike some of you forum dwellers, I have no ego LOL. I would happily admit if I made a mistake, look at my Off-topic history.

Weren't there cheers and laughs with Trump? Yes
Didn't he close to an applause and cheers? Yes.
Anyone denying otherwise needs to clinically check out or just too enraged to see things otherwise. I've been there.

The video is RIGHT THERE, click page 1 of my thread.

A nice fantasy though.

Hmm...

Since you're using quotes can you link specifically to posts making those quoted arguments?

Speaking of digging. Did you know if you dug hole through earth from America to other side you would end up in the Indian Ocean not China? Pretty cool. Off topic post complete.

Make your own conclusion, boss. Stop always listening to what others have filtered and machined through. WATCH the live-recorded video from start to end. Feel the crowd as if it were a stand-up performance.
Uh... this was not meant to be a comedic appearance, so it seems weird to propose viewing it through that lens?

Because I was only talking about the crowd reaction, not the BS that Trump always spews and the media only reported on.

Trump went on about Kamala being black or Indian, the panel didn't call him racist, the panel WENT WITH IT and said, "No, Kamala identifies as BLACK, she's one of US".

They both were on the same racial issue. No moral highground here. Did media report that?

We're just slinging mud now. I answer, you ignore.

What kind of beer do you like? I like a simple Sam Adams. I even like Blue Moon still although it's mainstream and pretending to be not brewed by Coors.

I still don't understand. The people weren't there to see a comedian, they were there primarily for a serious discussion. So I'm not sure why it's valuable to regard the audience response from the perspective of a stand-up audience.

Says the guy who denies eyewitness testimony because he watched a video where the events in question took place off camera. You never even saw the thing happen that you’re claiming

This is illogical. You need to take a step back, take a deep breath, and ask yourself if what you’re saying makes sense because it very clearly doesn’t.

Why is the audience reaction not valuable? Any public speaker / performer / stand-up comics / theater folks / POLITICIANS understand gauging audience reaction during the appearance is a very important feedback.

Why did the last presidential debate skip having an audience?

The expected audience reaction from a typical public speaker and a stand-up comedian are different...

Yes to some extent, but audience reactions are audience reactions. They gasp, aw, and do various emotes based on the input.

Somewhat unrelated, but I like public speaking - quite good at it. Used to crush it at churches, college presentations, leadership corporate setting or my scrum team.

Yea you have to watch the different nuances, but people are people.

So your argument is that video that doesn’t even show the event in question is either equal to or superior to eyewitness testimony.

Let’s try a different tack. What evidence would you accept that your position that Trump won over the crowd of black journalists was wrong?

The more specific you are the better, and I’ll happily supply it to you so long as you tell me what it is.

So coming from Off-topic...

@Perknose tolerates all your deviant & toxic behavior here?

Why can't we swear in Off-topic @Perknose!!! *Shakes fist* Different stadards for different categories of people? I'll tell the OT folks what you allow in here.

There will be an uprising.

You should know better than to make mod callouts in the open forums.
