Trump’s lawyer admitted to one of trump’s crimes last night on Fox news, dumbest move by a defense lawyer as it can now be used in court. Defense lawyers never speak about their cases...well the smart ones don’t.
What did the lawyer say?

They know they can't win on the law and they aren't going to get paid, so they are in it for the PR. And hoping for an OJ jury.

Scott Adams... has thoughts.
I think this train left with Central Park 5 or was it the Black people housing thing or was it the Obama Birth Certificate or was it Michelle Obama is a Man or was it kneeling during the anthem or was it during the cop violence protests or was it…

I'm wondering what else Trump is capable of? What he may be up to right now this moment?
Donald Trump is a career criminal and career criminals do not take coffee breaks, they keep on committing crime because it is in their nature. I have no doubts that since the classified documents thing took off, Trump has pulled off new crimes and misdemeanors we have yet to hear about. We don't know yet what the new crimes might be because we are still distracted with current litigation of past criminal activity. We assume Trump's current woes have been keeping Donald occupied, with Donald Trump behaving and playing the good boy. THIS is a MAJOR misconception for us to assume. Our deadly mistake is to assume that Trump's criminal activities have plateaued. Once a crook always a crook.

Right now, today, Donald Trump is engaged in even more high crimes and misdemeanors. One of which I have no doubt is pre-planning some old fashion mob-like jury tampering. Planning is taking place right now because Donald Trump has few options remaining to escape accountability. Rudy can't help him, Fox fixation on Hunter Biden will not help Trump, all as the sky continues falling down on Donald's head. For Trump the only way out is to commit more crime. Committing more crime is always the solution for a career criminal. That, and the lying.

FFS I'm more worried about most Americans.

Americans don't have patience to for wait for justice.. they just go instant coffee and instant bang bang.

Again?! Try “still!“
He does vary a whole lot on the alarmist spectrum. He will work a fantasy. He can be hard to figure out. Has an incredibly deluded family, AFAIK he's the only one that isn't nuts.

The Dilbert guy has become the ultimate divorced dad. He’s another example of someone who has demolished their reputation because they can’t stop shitposting on Twitter.
He's also a great example of how it can be best not to know that much about authors/entertainers you like (and I have some of the early Dilbert books and like them). Orson Scott Card is another one, I used to post on his forum, and so did he, and he is NOT AT ALL what I'd expect from the author of Ender's Game.

With Scott Adams you can't really ignore it. He's waving his conservative wang around in public every chance he gets.

...and it's costing him as his strip was booted from newspapers across the country.

He's also claimed to have been fired repeatedly due to black people.

Sometimes, though, it goes the other way. Neil Gaiman is a fucking international treasure.

Trump was even pissed that the judge kept referring to him as "Mr. Trump" instead of "Mr. President" when she was laying out the rules he must follow.

Such a fragile little person...
I can imagine a few A Few Good Men scenes happening during this trial. Obviously the “YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!” and the one where the judge dresses down the Colonel for not respecting the court.

Yes indeed. And there are a lot of writers and artists whose views I admire, probably a lot of them for every Kid Rock and Orson Scott Card. The upside of knowing someone is an asshat is that I can enjoy not giving them money, even if I might like their work (Kid Rock is an N/A in that dept anyway lol)

I've been reading a lot how this lawyer (and the others) might just be saying screw it, go for the court of public opinion. I've heard he's no idiot, though of course anyone makes mistakes. It might very well be that they know they are fucked and they'll just shoot for, you guessed it, the public to overthrow the government because they are so outraged over the poor wronged Donald. That and/or the chance he'll win and will be allowed to pardon himself.

One way or another things are likely to get *very* interesting as a result from this trial. There's going to be a lot of angry people one way or another. If Justice for whatever reason ("The unity of the country" or some shit) backs down; if a juror goes all-in for Trump despite evidence; if Trump is somehow off the hook, a bunch of us are going to be pissed. If Trump somehow ends up in prison, his supporters will throw a gasket. There's no way this turns out that doesn't piss off a huge chunk of people, interesting times. Then there's the chance his hamberder-gobbling ass keels over before it's done, which will be WTF happens now...

Would it help Trump if we all promise to call him "Mr. President" when we visit him in jail?

Trump never had ultimate power. Any lawyer who would work for him is staining their resume forever. Same with consultants, campaign workers, supporters of any kind. Any of you guys who think he's going to regain the White House are in an alternate universe.
Sorry man, I think you're in an alternate universe if you think he can't the way the deck is so enormously stacked in favor of the right. Biden won by 4.4 points and still only squeaked out a close electoral victory in 2020. 4-5 points is how much a Democrat has to win by to be relatively safe when it comes to the electoral college vote. And that 4.4 point tailwind Biden gave the party was only enough to gain a 0-seat senate majority.
