Story seems to have changed now ...

Despite rumors that Trump could face the death penalty, Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya clarified during the arraignment that the maximum penalty for the charge of conspiracy against rights is 10 years.

Trump is being treated extremely unfairly.

Anyone else that faces the type of charges he is facing are not free to walk until their trial.

Double standard justice system!

Judge said if Trump commits any crimes including but not limited to witness intimidation he will be arrested until trial.
The reality is, he is mentally incapable of obeying that order. I give him 5 minutes in front of a camera and mic before he writes a check with his mouth his ass can't cash.

Face it dems, we're F-ked. The TV news shows, all of them, are obsessed showing Trump "driving" to the airport. Showing his plane "waiting" to taxi. Showing his plane "taking off" into the wild blue yonder.

THIS is the problem, Donald Trump is mesmerizing. The media gives him 100% of their attention and god help Joe Biden.
Can you believe this is Trump's third indictment and third trip to the court and third motorcade ride and third jet flight and still the media remains mesmerized every inch of the way.

So, convince me again that Trump will not be the next president... because I will find that hard to believe. And the debates haven't even started yet for gods sake.
We're hooked on Trump. Be it a love/hate thing or whatever, but we just can't quit the Donald. Pretty much the old Brokeback Mountain syndrome.
Yep America, we're Fked. I guess we'll just have to get use to it, and use to total insanity. Nut house anyone? The bus is leaving in ten minutes.
Jee-zus dude! Chill!

We survived Nixon. We’ll survive Trump.

I did rather enjoy getting to watch Nixon fly away from the WH one last time.

At least Nixon created the EPA like a real conservative rather than systematically dismantled any and every environmental protection he could. In hindsight it gets a lot worse than Nixon.

That's fine by me. Between the death penalty and 10 years in Federal prison, I think execution would be the easy way out for him. I personally would prefer that he receives at least a modicum of the same treatment that people he believes comes from "shithole nations" feels in our prison system.

Yeah, I predict him violating it in some vague “truth” social post and the judge giving him crap for it but nothing else will happen.
I am so tired of the former President skating along doing stuff none of us could get away with.

The odds of him being sent to jail before conviction are nearly zero.

The world is a more pleasant place when you put that guy on ignore. I mean has he ever said something interesting or insightful? No. All he does is throw temper tantrums about how evil and dumb everyone else is.

Like if you're going to be an asshole at least be an interesting asshole.
Didn't you used to have a no ignore policy?

I'm wondering what else Trump is capable of? What he may be up to right now this moment?
Donald Trump is a career criminal and career criminals do not take coffee breaks, they keep on committing crime because it is in their nature. I have no doubts that since the classified documents thing took off, Trump has pulled off new crimes and misdemeanors we have yet to hear about. We don't know yet what the new crimes might be because we are still distracted with current litigation of past criminal activity. We assume Trump's current woes have been keeping Donald occupied, with Donald Trump behaving and playing the good boy. THIS is a MAJOR misconception for us to assume. Our deadly mistake is to assume that Trump's criminal activities have plateaued. Once a crook always a crook.

Right now, today, Donald Trump is engaged in even more high crimes and misdemeanors. One of which I have no doubt is pre-planning some old fashion mob-like jury tampering. Planning is taking place right now because Donald Trump has few options remaining to escape accountability. Rudy can't help him, Fox fixation on Hunter Biden will not help Trump, all as the sky continues falling down on Donald's head. For Trump the only way out is to commit more crime. Committing more crime is always the solution for a career criminal. That, and the lying.

Scott Adams... has thoughts.
Is it just me or is his tweet simply not coherent?

First para seems to be a good ol' dog whistle, second para seems to be a Trump style "people are saying" comment... Is the last para a Trump quote?

I mean this is the guy that said white people should avoid black people at all costs because black people are a hate group.

People think he went nuts but there’s pretty good evidence he was always nuts.

Trump’s lawyer admitted to one of trump’s crimes last night on Fox news, dumbest move by a defense lawyer as it can now be used in court. Defense lawyers never speak about their cases...well the smart ones don’t.

I think their idea is they know Trump is legally cooked already so this is basically a PR campaign.
