The Trumps are using a mediocre QUARTERLY growth rate and comparing it to these articles that are plainly stating yearly sustained average and you fell for it. Like a fucking dupe.

4% is a solid growth rate - not mediocre. Obama and Bush before him were mediocre with annual growth rates. As I mentioned earlier, we'll see if this is sustained. I suspect not on an annual basis but hope for the best. I do think a 3% annual is not out of the question for 2018 which would beat all 8 years of Obama. But again, we'll have to see especially with tariffs in sight.

This last quarter saw absolutely massive fiscal stimulus combined with frontloaded purchases due to a possible trade war. On no planet does that indicate that sustained 3% growth is likely going forward.
