Then next Democrat President is going to have to rebuild the entire country. After this lying scumbag Treasonous Eco-terrorist finishes with it. New Deal Style.

How would repeal of Dodd-Frank benefit you?
The CFPB is overreaching and in dire need of reform, but what the GOP really wants to do is to get rid of ATR and boom-and-bust the banking system again.

They love the smell of economic napalm in the morning...

"Triggered?" Good grief. If having a conscience is the definition of "triggered," fine, call it that if you want to. It's not going to be me spending my afterlife slowly rotating on a metal rod impaled from mouth through anus over a slow fire.

The after life sounds kinky...

In typical "1984 fashion", AGAIN....

If it's a "care" ..why are people "worried" as I read on several media?
The words "care" and "insurance" are not really going well together with the term "care".

Shouldn't a "care" take worries away instead of create them?

But..of course..not surprised here in the slightest.

I give this about a 0 percent chance of actually getting passed

As far as the Repubs in the House are concerned, they already know that that stinking skunk of a bill they sent to the Senate is a loser a thousand times over. All they were concerned about is not losing face AGAIN on this second go-around. This second version actually takes more benefits away than the first. They know it all to well, but it's all that they could cobble together Frankenstein style seeing as if their ideology and their very wealthy benefactors prevented them from allowing a penny's worth more in benefits.

The Repubs simply needed in a very desperate kind of way something that they could point to as an "accomplishment" and then have a nice little back patting, butt bumping celebration to put an exclamation point on "it".

That little celebratory get together they had after the passage of the bill in the House was the most pitiful and well, FAKE whoop-ti-doo I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing.

I can only see the Dems being blamed for it if they filibuster any HC bill. I'm not sure that the Repub Senate can invoke Reconciliation. I understand it can only be used a very limited number of times per year. Roughly speaking I think it's once a year. But there are 'loopholes'.

Fern
Sure. "If Democrats hadn't passed the ACA, possibly the worst bill in entire human history, the Republicans wouldn't have had to pass this bill to fix it. Besides, even though I'm dying from cancer and the insurance companies and hospitals are laughing at me when I ask for help because I'm already in bankruptcy from my last $1,000,000 hospital bill, Obamacare was much much worse. So thanks Obama!"

No, Trump care hasn't passed. Still must go through Senate. I'll bet money I don't even have that whatever comes out of the Senate is substantially different than what the House has passed.

Fern
Trump said Trumpcare passed. Another lie? You numb to it yet?

I'd love to pretend I'm some sort of clairvoyant but we all know that the truth is that you fucking conservatives are just too damn predictable:
If the Dem's hadn't passed 0bamacare none of this would have been necessary. Congress could be addressing other problems instead of having to clean up this mess. Fully grown adults clean up the mess small children make.

Everyone knows this.
