Trump Care Passed! When...

When can I expect:
Lower premium costs
Lower deductibles
Lower co-pays
Lower prescription costs
More competition so more choices
Nobody dying in the street and coverage for all! Yay!

President Trump promised all of the above plus more, when can I expect them?

No, Trump care hasn't passed. Still must go through Senate. I'll bet money I don't even have that whatever comes out of the Senate is substantially different than what the House has passed.

House GOP already voted for what they voted for. What happens afterwards doesn't change that they went on record and voted to allow insurers to discriminate against people based on pre-existing conditions and send sick people into underfunded death pools. The CBO will soon tell us what GOP voted for in terms of millions of new uninsured, while exempting themselves.

Maybe they can charter an entire 500+ seat jumbo jet to Hell with all of them on it and save some money on the airfare. I hope everyone who voted for this gets malignant anal cancer

Yup, and even if the Senate revises it in a more moderate direction, they will probably lose the freedom caucus in the House when it comes back.

You guys sound so depressed. This is the beginning of the end of the republican party, and you can't see it. These congressman just signed their resignation letters. They are right now playing as live actors in their own version of victory all of which will be used for campaign ads against them.

This probably won't even pass the senate, so for now Obamacare is safe. The only way this passes the senate is if they nuke the filibuster and even then, they'd want to change a lot. But all the republicans already voted for it! So even if it never gets put into law, it all can be used against them when they have to run for re-election! They are so F-d

The Forgotten Men and Women™ will learn that they have not been forgotten when their premiums jump by a factor of two. What a poetic justice.

Last year I would have agreed with you. This year I'll be surprised if America doesn't blame Democrats for this bill.

It only counts when the bodies stack up. Once people start dying because they can't afford care, in the thousands, things will change by necessity. It sucks, but people are so conditioned by propaganda about healthcare that the only thing that changes their mind is a close family member being affected.

I can only see the Dems being blamed for it if they filibuster any HC bill. I'm not sure that the Repub Senate can invoke Reconciliation. I understand it can only be used a very limited number of times per year. Roughly speaking I think it's once a year. But there are 'loopholes'.

Merely fallen heroes in the war against lower status minorities.

Conservative logic: "the people trying to stop millions from losing insurance are to blame for the move to drop their insurance". I think you're smart enough to understand the problem there, but not honest enough to care. Don't worry though, @Jhnnn will always believe you guys'll figure it out if it's explained enough times.

Wow such anger and grace. That's exactly the kind of restraint and emotional intelligence that employers with good health insurance benefits are looking for.

Should I report your post? You seem to have been triggered pretty hard in another thread and said you reported it. You're making me pretty uncomfortable.

I think I'll cry some big tears while I decide.

I found this humorous, although not necessarily a prophecy: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-healthcare-idUSKBN18014F
As Republicans crossed over the vote threshold to pass the bill, Democrats in the House began singing "Na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye," a rowdy suggestion that Republicans will lose seats in the 2018 midterm elections because of their vote.
Democrats need about a 5% swing in the electorate to gain a majority in the house. Doable, but tough. As an example, my hometown just had the city council switch sides in a vote on Tuesday. Democrats are finally getting organized. Will they be able to keep it going though for 1.5 more years?

If every degen who'll lose their insurance got cancer, higher racial status might well not be worth it anymore.

I think you're in denial. If Trump nukes the filibuster he'll just spin it as being the guy that breaks all the rules to get things done in spite of all the political stiffs. He's no Commander Sheperd but to his supporters I'm sure he could convince them he is.
