- Yeah, I'll give Trump credit where it is due: He has really demonstrated that the whole world is run by a bunch of fucking imbeciles and the only thing holding this shit together in any meaningful capacity are ironically the everyday working people who just plug away at whatever inane shit we've cobbled together and called the human civilization.
Therein lies the power of a general strike...

Yeah, they may not be able to stop them but they certainly don't have to support them. There is value in calling out their unfitness.

It seems to me that after ruminating over the reasons why Trump won the way he did, it did make me pause over the idea that the more the Republican politicians and their operatives get called out for actual and factual reasons why they should never be trusted with the keys to our policy making and our treasury due to their corruption, malfeasance and criminality, most of the folks who put them in office get insulted, indignant and reflexively turn to revenge as their answer to the accusations being levied against their leaders.

It simply makes no matter to them how many crimes are being committed by their representatives in gov't, it only matters to them that their chosen leaders are being vilified, humiliated and shamed from being called out and held accountable for their actions and they want payback for it, Trump being the prime example. It's one of the ways I could justify why a known felon, tax cheat, adulterating sex abuser and being a notorious arrogant scofflaw could, as incredible as it seems, possibly be seen as the best person to lead the nation.

I'm a little rusty but I don't recall Marx having much to say about gay people.

Truly just a reactionary catch all for "I do not like this new/different thing".
Speaking of which my new keyboard is being very Marxist this morning and furthering the far leftist woke agenda.

So the term woke is out and Marxist is in?
I think he's probably meaning 'Cultural Marxism' which is a dumb racist right-wing conspiracy theory that is tossed around effectively synonymously with they way they use 'woke'. Because they are racist and dumb.

If every world leader got snapped by Thanos today, everything would click along exactly the same (or better because many actively make things worse) for quite a while.

If every truck driver or farm worker stayed home for a couple weeks there would be utter chaos.

- Yep, I often use the same thought experiment for any organizational structure.

Every CEO snapped out of existence? Things would more or less keep humming along.

Every entry level employee snapped out of existence? Complete chaos and pan-social collapse.

I can't believe the polio thing, wow. RFK Jr bringing back the iron lung I guess? So ridiculous.

John Willink is drinking the Tulsi and Pete Koolaid too sounds like, I just lost so much respect for him. These aren't learn on the job positions Jocko, don't preach about duty, skill, national security and leadership if you can't be honest with yourself (or others) regarding fitness for duty.

Il Douche isn't even in office yet, and his rot is already spreading, fucking things over...

Yeah, for all his faults and flaws, he's still not quite the despicable bucket of offal that is taj.
I think chicken livers and sweetbreads and chicken hearts are all very delicious. Don't insult offal by comparing to that piece of shit taj!
