That thread has one of the oddest (yet possibly insightful) Star Wars references I've seen in a long time.

Frustratingly, though, couldn't find an answer to the thread title question, in the thread. Is there the slightest possibility that such a bill could pass? (I'd take it as a given that the Supreme Injustices would find a way to Calvinball it)

That isn't conceding congressional power to Trump, that is approving Trump's and Musks cuts. The article is also talking about changing it so it only requires majority to pass and not 60 votes. As I said, techniqually, Congress can't conceed it's power to the executive branch (Trump) without amending the constitution, as the constituion dictates what powers each branch has, not Congress and not the President.

I was thinking about something I call the Trump paradox. How many times have we heard don't pay attention to seemingly ridiculous things he says because they would never happen. Ultimately it does happen.

Don't pay attention to A because it is just hyperbole pay attention to B.

A winds up happening (ex Project 2025). Then we continue

Don't pay attention to B, pay attention to C.

B happens (people being disappeared on the streets with no crime committed and no explanation), pay attention to C

Don't pay attention to C, pay attention to D.

It is a never-ending cycle. Zone is flooded with criminality, corruption unconstitutional acts, and incompetence.


Question since this cycle has no end in sight absent an assassin with better aim or a cheeseburger induced heart attack, what should we pay attention to?

I know, but that is the bill (HR1295) that she is talking about in the video. He asked what the odds are of it passing. None.
