This is actually true in a way but the reason is entirely benign. The native born population is shrinking and so there will be a net job loss for native born people for the foreseeable future.

Just a continuation of previous remarks he's made such as John McCain was a hero because he was captured and Trump preferred those who weren't captured, and McCain was a loser. That the thousands buried in France after the WWI Battle of Belleau Woods were losers, suckers for getting killed. That wounded vets shouldn't be allowed in parades because nobody wants to see that.

I know there were more of this type of remarks but these are what I remember offhand. I do not understand how anyone who is now or has ever been in service could vote for him.

So he could have just left it at that but, no. Trump, being Trump, had to go off script to make the honor seem even more biglier by casually insulting the soldiers who got the “lesser” honor. That list includes Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn Cashe, awarded the honor in posthumously in 2021. Cashe died from burn wounds suffered in 2005 attempting to save six fellow soldiers trapped in a burning vehicle following a roadside bomb attack in Iraq.

Army Sgt. 1st Class Leroy Petry received the honor in 2011 for valor in Afghanistan. He lost his hand in a enemy grenade blast after picking up the explosive and hurling it away from two fellow soldiers, saving their lives.

That list doesn't include a gilded NYC rich boy who fled service in Viet Nam by claiming sore feet.

Eh who am I kidding. My band occasionally plays at a couple local VFWs and there are always a few cars covered with Trump stickers. Parking in places like this is a big reason I don't have bumper stickers. The drawn out way in which he indirectly said she was ugly was pretty damn funny. You have to be a special kind of hater to look at a drawing of someone and come to the conclusion they used a drawing because the person's too ugly to photograph. And I'm impressed at how there was some depth here instead of the usual "she looks like a pig" or similar insult. I'm sure one of his workers came up with this one, but it was pretty damn good regardless.

While she's not amazing looking, especially for her age I'd say she's pretty, had he of all people shouldn't be calling anyone else ugly. Trump's gonna Trump though.
