Speaking of Bat Shit Crazy... or should it go to the presser.....

During a rambling news conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday, former President Donald Trump leveled his usual attacks against his political opponents but also shared a wild anecdote about nearly dying in a helicopter crash with Vice President Kamala Harris’s former beau, California politician Willie Brown.

As Trump told it, the pair were on a helicopter that had to do an emergency landing. His tale also included the convenient detail that Brown, former speaker of the California State Assembly, trash-talked his ex-girlfriend, Harris, some three decades after they stopped dating.

Nothing Trump said is true, according to an investigation by The New York Times.

The first problem: It was Jerry Brown, the former governor of California, and not Willie Brown on the helicopter.

Jerry Brown, who left office in 2019 looks nothing like Willie Brown, who served as mayor of San Francisco from 1996 to 2004; the former is white while the latter is Black.

Speaking to the Times, Willie Brown said there was no chance Trump was telling the truth: “You know me well enough to know that if I almost went down in a helicopter with anybody, you would have heard about it!”
Any moment now we'll have hundreds of stories mentioning Trump and his apparent dementia twisted in with his penchant for lying....

Oh, first, it was he meant Jerry Brown. It turns out it was when he was touring wild fires in California with... wait for it... Gov. Newsome, who said Trump was scared shitless through out the whole helicopter flight. Know wonder he's upset Joe's not running anymore.
Edit: same trip he made the comment about raking the forests.

Lyin’ Cryin’ Donald wants to sue the New York Times for reporting that he wasn’t in a helicopter crash that never happened with a man who says they’ve never met, because he’s either too stubborn, stupid or too dementia-addled to admit he got Willie Brown confused with Jerry Brown. This Willie Brown thing is getting under his skin.

When the only tool you have is a lawyer, everything looks like a lawsuit.

Team Batshit: - “We have the flight records of the helicopter,” that it landed in “a field". Well, #PutUpOrShutTheFuckUpTrump. More likely: “We have flight records of some helicopter that landed in a field somewhere."

First of all, it was in New Jersey, not California, and it was Willie Brown, not former Governor Jerry Brown," he said. “So far they are about as accurate as they are with their other stories about me.”

In an article dated April 15, 2011, 'His Willieness dishes about his good buddy Donald Trump. I remember one time Trump sent his private jet to Boston to pick me up. He’s just angling for another ride in Trump’s jet (helicopter!). But now Willie doesn’t remember? No, he remembers!"

In a separate post, Trump wrote: “In the FAKE NEWS story done by the Failing New York Times on Willie Brown and his little helicopter ride with me many years ago, there were ‘Logs,’ Maintenance Records, and Witnesses. There was also a story on ‘Willie and Me."

He apparently wrote this while he was waiting on his plane to be fixed so he could get to Montana and seems so pissed about it that he was more incoherent than usual. He wasn’t even talking about a NY Times article (even though he was just talking about the NYT). The article he is talking about is from the San Francisco Appeal. It does give SOME clarity to that dementia addled mess of words.

Not that that explains anything unless Trump is trying to say that he has a bunch of priceless paintings hanging on the walls of his helicopter. I’m going to assume he just told one of his toadies “Find me an article where Willie Brown said nice things about me” and figured nobody would dig any deeper than that. And hell, I can’t even keep track of all the occasions I’ve mistaken the SF Appeal for the NY Times. lol

The real story is JUST Trump is just confused about all the details and which black man was with him. Willie Brown or Nate Holden (Hey, he’s old, in cognitive decline and racist.) The important thing is that Nate Holden spent what he must have thought would be his final minutes on Earth telling Trump horrible things about a then-26-year-old deputy district attorney on the other side of the state that neither of them had ever met.

Dementia Don. He lies so much his addled brain can't tell what is the truth and what is a lie anymore. At this point, Trump probably believes he's a former MI6 operative and has his double 0 status.

You know it is even worse given that Trump must be color blind given Willie is a lot darker than Jerry 😉

Anyway he threatens to sue everyone and a lot of it has been baseless (causing a lot of lawyers to be censored and major firms refusing to work with him).

And he's recycling.

Former President Donald Trump’s apparently false tale of surviving a helicopter emergency landing with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown wasn’t a one-off.

Trump, who told the story in a rambling news conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday, recounted it at least once before — in a 2023 book.
Upon further review...

There actually was a scary helicopter ride in the mid 1990's. Dementia Don just completely forgot who was on it. There was a black guy from California on board at least. (And of course Don the Con completely fabricated wholesale the part about talking about Harris).

From CNN:
Former Los Angeles city councilman and California state Sen. Nate Holden said Friday that he was with former President Donald Trump in the helicopter ride that made an emergency landing, despite Trump saying it was former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.

“Willie is the short Black guy living in San Francisco,” Holden said in an interview with Politico late Friday. “I’m a tall Black guy living in Los Angeles.”

“I guess we all look alike,” he added.

... with Holden noting to Politico that it was Trump who was “scared sh*tless.”

Holden probably meant shitful. 😛

This account was confirmed by Trump's former EVP of construction, Barbara Res.

Of course a racist dude like Donny thinks all Black people look alike, just like he thinks all migrants at the southern U.S. border are Mexican felons.

You really don’t need to know them as long as they are doing their “black jobs”

interview with barbara res who was on the flight.
while all this points out donOLD's cognitive decline, the reason he tried to link himself to Willie Brown was to make up Brown saying disparaging things about Harris. so the fact that Brown wasnt on the flight means don-oldie was making shit up whole cloth, and that should be the other half of this incident.

“She lied about her crowd size, she should be disqualified to run”
Former President falls for an easy to disprove rumor Kamala’s crowd at the hanger didn’t exist.
Some right wing nut job on X or truth claimed to be a maintenance worker and said her hanger was empty it was just filled with cardboard cut outs.

This is really fucking weird to insist it true. So easily proven false.
