Edit: yeah I want this to be real, though it probably isn't. Obama is a comedian, the wittiest pres we've had in a long time, but it's doubtful he'd be that on the nose about it.

Between the National Association of Manufacturer's and new tech, the Trumpists are making enemies everywhere fast.


We have had plenty of terrorist attacks before this. The alt-right attacks in Oakland and Santa Cruz, killing police officers. Alt-right terrorists plowing there vehicles into crowds, with Charlottesville being the most famous incident.

But it takes an invasion of the capitol and bashing a police officers head in with a fire extinguisher to get them to act? Shame on them. Shame.

That's not likely the type of thing that Obama would put in to writing. It sounds like something he would say in a comment, as a joke on a talk show or something, but nothing beyond that.

It reads like satire, because that's not how he is generally known to present himself in print.

Well that's what I assumed it was. Didn't read like a real Obama Tweet. Though, now you mention it. I guess I could imagine him alluding to that same point in an interview, if nudged in that direction by a mischievous interviewer.
