While all this was being said, the alleged humbled and apologetic Trump was rage tweeting on the official POTUS account, attempted sock after sock account and then any other account he could get his hands on. Twitter spent the evening chasing him around their platform like he was an escaped hamster.

I’m not sure who pushed Lindsey into making that speech, probably not Trump himself but someone concerned :snerk:: about how Trump might react to impeachment. But Lindsey just can’t quit him for some reason (pictures, tapes, bribes etc?)

Wait, what does “focus on his agenda” even mean? I guess he now has a reason finally to get Infrastructure week done?

Not particularly high. It's more likely that it was a combination of internal uproar and feeling that it's "safe" to ban Trump when he has less than two weeks left in office. He can't realistically do anything to Section 230 and force Twitter to carry his content.
