What did they prevent in this case and what did the do when they had the majority?
I still say what the GOP is doing is working for them.
Do you want me to google it for you? I will if you really want me to, but it's dumb to act like he hasn't accomplished anything of note, and you may or may not remember I was very much not a Biden fan leading up to 2020. Give the man his fucking dues already.

Point being neither one of us who compared to the typical voter are far more informed and neither of us has an answer without hitting google.
Democrats strategy has sucked for far too long.

And you didn’t share it.
I’m legitimately not picking on you it’s just EXACTLY what Democrats leadership does. They don’t say exactly what has been done to help people out.
I think it's more complicated than that, the triumph is announced and barely registers as a blip in the news cycle because it's not exciting.

They could get on tiktok blast it on facebook twitter whatnot. They dont have a dedicated propaganda network like Fox so they should make due. I agree they’re only doing the bare minimum in terms of PR. Which is sad cause the Biden admin has racked up some huge wins.

"The Convoy arrives at the border hoping to see an "invasion" of migrants only sees an invasion of MAGA nutjobs and vigilantes...Now they say they were grifted .. lol!

“But as they arrived to Eagle Pass, Texas (after a, um, rocky start), they were shocked to find that the situation at the border was much different than they were led to believe. In fact, the only ‘hordes’ of people who were at the border were the MAGA border vigilantes themselves.”

Instead of mounting a defense to protect the nation, participants say they’ve been conned into helping a bunch of livestreamers perpetuate a con game to enrich themselves.

They’re complaining that organizers “don’t care about the border,” or about what participants had to sacrifice to make the trip — only about the cash flow

If only they took their heads out of their asses for a few minutes, they may have heard just about everyone telling them that’s exactly what was happening.

They conspiracy theory’d themselves out of a conspiracy theory. As much as I enjoy the in fighting on the right, this is type of grifting is better. You know they don’t have any integrity when they’ll just go along with the last person to tell them what to do.

There have been rumblings from the Democrats in the house that they could amend their shell discharge petition for this. How many no votes on their side there are for the Israel portion but that's probably a solvable problem and also depends how many GOPs go along.

This also builds pressure just to toss it on the floor and get it over with. I don't think Johnson will decide that given his penchant for public rake stepping though.

If the orange menace retakes the WH one can only hope that the D's hold both houses of congress during his term.

House seems possible, but I expect the Senate is tilted too much to the Republicans with the seats up this cycle.

I think House is likely to flip. That body has done nothing but be really inefficient in electing a speaker.

Senate is looking 50/50, depending on how AZ shakes out. MD could get interesting if Hogan can swing that race to give GQP the majority.

Hogan is as strong a candidate as Republicans could possibly hope for but in a presidential election year that's still pretty unlikely.

There is virtually zero chance Hogan is elected in a D+30 state. GOP governors running for Senate seats in their Blue states have a disastrous record. Once the race is nationalized they get cooked.

Oh, I agree it's unlikely. But it puts another safe D seat in play. At the least, it's one they'll have to defend at a non-trivial level that they weren't really expecting to.

I still think it all boils down to AZ.

Are Democrats reminding people how many things they will lose if they lose the Senate. MD has enough Dems if they message right it is winnable.

Is Hogan the best candidate they could get for senate there? Yes.

Is he good enough to win? Really really really doubt it. He's going to be on the ballot with Trump also making it all the more difficult.

If the Ukraine/Israel funding gets passed without a border bill, GOP would have played themselves big time. No border deal and now the public know you're to blame for the border issue. Then if Democrats sweep in the election we'll see immigration reform.
