I figured back in February that the GOP would *have* to go with Trump. They had no choice but pick one pony and rally behind it. He had too much momentum to derail at that time.

I still fully expect it to be a bloodbath in Hillary's favor come November.

Yes if you want the same old crap, go ahead and vote for Hilary.

I do expect she will do badly in the debates - I'll be surprised if more than two come off - but even there she'll have most of the media screaming that she won and there will surely be plenty of stupid Trumpisms to give them ammunition.

Why would you say that? If 11 hours of Benghazi bullshit didn't get to her I doubt Trump will do any better.

Shee-it, Sherlock- she can win by pretending he's not there.

You'd be surprised how many people (including this forum) are ok with the same old dog crap that we have for "government". Trump at least has a chance to change that. Even if he doesn't, he's not going to be able to do much damage in 4 years with a gridlocked congress.

She can't win if she can't talk, just ask all 17 of the candidates who were continuously interrupted/bullied by The Donald. Short of calling her a wise and beautiful woman on stage, he can do what he wants to her and get away with it. He is a master at dominating conversations, she is not. Whoever dominates assumes higher alpha status, regardless of whether you're happy how he did it or not. Subconsciously you will accept him as the alpha and that goes a long way with voters on the fence. Most will want the stronger candidate.

What surprises me more is people who say they're doing well in the system whining about it incessantly.

So, uhh, he'll try to bully his way over Clinton & nobody will notice because he's alpha? Is that some sort of Strong! Leader! cult worship on your part?

RWA's are thankfully a small % of the population. Here- read up about yourself-

LMAO she doesn't need to talk to win. Only he needs to talk to remind he's an idiot, xenophobe, racist, bigot with no idea of economics for the world to see and she wins by default.

And I'll add this.. in 2008 with Obama vs McCain most people didn't pay attention till the financial crisis/ debates. Unlike 2008 most people already have an opinion of both candidates since it's all over the news. It's not the 5th or 6th story, it's first story everyday how he's going to hang out with David Duke or punish women for abortions or kick latinos, asians, muslims, native americans in the gut. Oh and he loves latinos.

The guy is so insane, Texas is in play for the first time in half a century since 40% of Texans are latino. That's 38 electoral votes, more than double Ohio.

You can live stream all of the Trump rally's on youtube. Live as they happen.
And I tap in always wondering what he will say this time.
Wondering if maybe Donald can appear or sound at least a tad intelligent.
And it never happens....
About ten minutes into every single Trump speech, its the same old Donald.
He might get off to a fairly good start, then that typical ten year old Donald takes over.
Like a demonic possession of sorts.
And you find yourself listening to the same old Trump gobbled goop, as if hitting yourself over the head with a hammer and expecting a different outcome than hitting yourself the time before.
I even feel the audience growing bored, but they hang in there because he was once on TV.
And his own show.
After all, he's a celebrity and we love our celebrates.

But one thing I know.
If and once he becomes president, and keeps this up, the people will grow tired of him and his mouth and his illogical ranting quite soon enough.
And the first to give him up will be all those morons that voted for him.

Because frankly, they don't care about the fence or the wall or if some Hispanic is checking them out at the Walmart register or if some Muslim lives next door.
All they really care about is the celebrity.
And as with any fad, people grow tired very fast. What's in today is out tomorrow.
Once celebrity Trump becomes president Trump, everything will change.
Huge yawns, bored faces, and a lot of people wondering would president Hillary have been more interesting?

My Prediction: Hilary wins by the biggest landslide in modern US history, then spends her 1 term presidency trying not be impeached.

And a lot of prosecutors die from all kinds of weird "suicides" like nailgun to the head or 2 bullets to the head.

Sacrifices will have to be made, Jhhnn. Even for my wife who has ties to the obama admin and will have to find a new job. Yeah we're doing well, but I want to see more options for this country in the future. It'd be nice if my kids got to pick from 3 or 4 candidates instead of 2. I believe that Trump is the first step of that process and if he's not, our country will still be fine in 2020. Hell even if hillary wins she won't be able to do much either but there isn't really a question in my mind that she's being controlled. Trump is a bit of a mystery in that he was self funding and noone knows if he answers to anyone but himself. He is conceding a little to unify the party but that's what I'd expect him to do as a leader. Isolation never works, ask Ted.

Trump is a reflection of most americans. We are overconfident, mostly only care about ourselves, think we're hot shit, and want to be successful. You can add hillary to that list as well, she's authoritarian too. But make no mistake, she will be strongarmed at the debates. She better have a good plan to counter when DT starts interrupting and branding her with a nickname like he did his other opponents. My vote is for Handout Hillary, she'll do whatever you say if you throw her some cash.

Trump has begun the dismantling process. Wasn't a question of IF he would go there, but when. I guess he's not gonna hold off til she's actually nominated like I thought.

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/201...-nasty-mean-enabler-husband-s-affairs-n569791

The comments, made during an evening rally in Eugene, Ore., marked the sharpest tone he's taken against the Democratic frontrunner since becoming his party's presumptive nominee, and the first time he's been so direct in referencing Bill Clinton's affairs in months.

"She's been the total enabler. She would go after these women and destroy their lives," Trump said. "She was an unbelievably nasty, mean enabler, and what she did to a lot of those women is disgraceful."

Yawn. The guy who thinks he can prevent national default by printing more money is going to "school" the wonk on economic policy and trade? Do tell.

Everyone knows the answer to that.
