I figured back in February that the GOP would *have* to go with Trump. They had no choice but pick one pony and rally behind it. He had too much momentum to derail at that time.

I still fully expect it to be a bloodbath in Hillary's favor come November.

And I'll add this.. in 2008 with Obama vs McCain most people didn't pay attention till the financial crisis/ debates. Unlike 2008 most people already have an opinion of both candidates since it's all over the news. It's not the 5th or 6th story, it's first story everyday how he's going to hang out with David Duke or punish women for abortions or kick latinos, asians, muslims, native americans in the gut. The guy is so insane, Texas is in play for the first time in half a century since 40% of Texans are latino. That's 38 electoral votes, more than double Ohio.

You can live stream all of the Trump rally's on youtube. Live as they happen.
And I tap in always wondering what he will say this time.
Wondering if maybe Donald can appear or sound at least a tad intelligent.
And it never happens....
About ten minutes into every single Trump speech, its the same old Donald.
He might get off to a fairly good start, then that typical ten year old Donald takes over.
Like a demonic possession of sorts.
And you find yourself listening to the same old Trump gobbled goop, as if hitting yourself over the head with a hammer and expecting a different outcome than hitting yourself the time before.
I even feel the audience growing bored, but they hang in there because he was once on TV.
And his own show.
After all, he's a celebrity and we love our celebrates.

But one thing I know.
If and once he becomes president, and keeps this up, the people will grow tired of him and his mouth and his illogical ranting quite soon enough.
And the first to give him up will be all those morons that voted for him.

Because frankly, they don't care about the fence or the wall or if some Hispanic is checking them out at the Walmart register or if some Muslim lives next door.
All they really care about is the celebrity.

Sacrifices will have to be made, Jhhnn. Even for my wife who has ties to the obama admin and will have to find a new job. Yeah we're doing well, but I want to see more options for this country in the future. It'd be nice if my kids got to pick from 3 or 4 candidates instead of 2. I believe that Trump is the first step of that process and if he's not, our country will still be fine in 2020. Hell even if hillary wins she won't be able to do much either but there isn't really a question in my mind that she's being controlled. Trump is a bit of a mystery in that he was self funding and noone knows if he answers to anyone but himself. He is conceding a little to unify the party but that's what I'd expect him to do as a leader. Isolation never works, ask Ted.

Trump is a reflection of most americans. We are overconfident, mostly only care about ourselves, think we're hot shit, and want to be successful. You can add hillary to that list as well, she's authoritarian too. But make no mistake, she will be strongarmed at the debates. She better have a good plan to counter when DT starts interrupting and branding her with a nickname like he did his other opponents.
