Also irrelevant is replying to posters' that are blatantly intentionally trying to sabotage discussions. You're not accomplishing anything worthwhile. You make good posts, I'd rather not have to start ignoring them because you can't stop muddying up threads by smearing the shit of others that decided to metaphorically shit on the floor, all over. The person you responded to is how multiple other posters acted before they devolved into the unrepentant outright lying assholes they now are.
I appreciate the compliment, but you have to do what’s right for you! I promise not to take offense if you ignore me.

So...now that Trump has admitted the WuFlu was more dangerous than he claimed in public...does that mean the MAGA-heads will FINALLY take it serious and start wearing the fucking masks?

No. Masks are for pussies. Muh Freedumb! Fuck you, Libtards!

This story is incredible because again had they taken appropriate action they could have saved thousands of lives and billions of dollars in terms of GDP losses. Imagine if the have started social distancing or vaccine production earlier. Imagine if red states didn't wait for the president to take this seriously publicly before they took it seriously publicly. Incredible. Honestly I agree with Biden that this sort of intentional misleading of the US people is essentially criminal when you're talking about people dying here.

They’re already saying that Trump just didn’t want people to panic, so it’s nothingburger.

I mean, yeah, a 191,000 people (and counting) died but they didn't panic while doing so! So, good job at that I guess?

They’re already saying that Trump just didn’t want people to panic, so it’s nothingburger.

They assume we won’t recall that Trump has worked hard to create panic: about “caravans;” about “MS-13;” about ‘socialists and anarchists taking over;’ about ‘plane-loads of antifa thugs’ flying around and brandishing weapons.

Creating panic is Trump’s signature move. Something he likes to do.

Of course the smoking gun would have been Trump being explicit about where he wanted to avoid panic: on Wall Street. Because Trump is convinced that so long as the stock market is doing well, his re-election is in the bag.

I have no doubt that Trump’s base will believe he was telling the complete truth when he said that Covid19 was no danger. And they will believe he was also telling the complete truth when he said that Covid19 IS a serious danger. It’s a form of victim-blaming. “The president lied to you because you’re a bunch of hysterical crybabies who can’t handle the truth. Stop crying about it, you hysterical crybaby!”
Trump claims he didn't tell people to prevent panic.

Clearly Trump thinks black people moving into the suburbs is a reason to panic but COVID isn't

Who knows, and who cares. Trump and Co. Have been full of shit forever. If you look to this admin for guidance, it's because you're poorly educated (remember that?).

He might mumble something from time to time that makes sense, yay, but the stance will remain "it will disappear someday".

Yea, after actual professionals generate a viable vaccine, and 'Muricans start taking it seriously. For now, it's the "blue flu"
Some professionals have said that they don't expect this virus to disappear ever, vaccines or no. Stuck with it.

Faux News is presently obsessing about NFL's capitulation to BLM. If they have talked about the Woodward book yet I missing it, but admittedly I keep my exposure to that propaganda machine to a minimum.

I have to admit the rest of the media is bugging the heck out of me though. They apparently have bought the Trump line that he "understated" the virus threat. He did not understate it-he flat out knowingly misrepresented the facts to the US people, repeatedly. Knowingly misrepresented equals LYING, not understating.
Lying is what Trump does. He does not do truthing, ever. He's all about lying. Garbage in Garbage Out. Open your mouth and ingest Faux News, Trump and turn your guts to a cesspool. It's why I cannot stand the guy. I suppose I'll watch the debates, not sure TBH. If I do, I hope to follow each by taking a shower in the spirit of this:

I wonder how many of the Trump justifiers have jobs? I'm not sure about the rest of y'all, but if we are faced with an imminent threat, we respond very differently to it than DJT. I would be fired if I downplayed an issue that threatened our bottom line and didn't plan for it, much less if it would involve loss of life. It's obvious he has never been involved in real work at any point in his life, even something as simple as figuring out the logistics of running errands or organizing the garage or paying bills. And they think he represents them, which is the funny part.
You Trump supporters are the fucking nail, and you'd get hammered if you were ever any kind of inconvenience in his life.

No, because it's been politicized already. Can't change that horse in mid-stream. Is that insane? Most definitely. Trump's base are insane.

Like you (I believe) I'm in California. I'll vote. But I'm not nervous because if California goes for Trump there will be insurrection such as you've never seen in America since the civil war. There's not a bluer state in the country AFAIK.

Trump did visit California I believe about a year ago but his itinerary was kept top secret. He wouldn't dare let people know where he was here. There would be riots for sure.

I saw in in a deplorable friends Facebook post.
Basically Woodward is a traitor for knowing in March the virus was deadly and not doing anything.

In a sense I understand what’s being said, HOWEVER the important point is the President needed time to act. Woodward revealing it the moment he learned would be strange.
Woodward deserves some heat for sitting on this information but it doesn’t exonerate Trump for deliberately misleading the public.

Gotta love Kennedy (R)'s response when asked by a reporter about this:

these gotcha books don't really interest me that much.

What a clown. Yet another reason the entire GOP Senate caucus needs to be fired in November.

Well, notice that Rage has come out and in time to inform the public prior to the election with enough time to digest the facts. The fact of the potus downplaying the virus absurdly has been well known ever since February. We didn't need Woodward to show us that. We did need him to make the ! in time for the election that the potus fully knew/knows it too.

I wasn't the one who brought up Japan

lol
This post is 100 percent trolling. The only other explanation is that you are severely cognitively impaired. It is as though you are incapable of understanding why Japan entered the discussion. If you are not so dain bramaged, as to be incapable of retorting to the accusations of being unable to understand? You will be confessing to trolling.
