LOL i love it when kids get schooled... Now the 6.5 was a classic POS i think most Chevy fanboys will agree with that. I've worked on a few 6.5's and they were nothing but trouble. One guy yanked his out and we built him a nice 454 for it 🙂 I'm sure glad Chevy finally ditched that pile or garbage and went with that new V8 Isuzu. Seems to be a lot stronger of a motor. Still won't out pull a Cummins or Powerstroke though...

Well lets start with 6.5 liter, thats a Detroit, and since you have shown zero clue so far the Detroit is a DIESEL, he has a 305 or 5.0 for you moron's oh wait not plural, Moron

His 700R4 is not having a shifting problem, he's having a clunking problem, which is prolly gonna turn out to be the U-joints, you can pick up high grade one's for GM trucks from Summit for $14.95 from Precision. Need any more teachin Kiddo?

And how old are you dip-sh$t, old enough to remember the Shitrolet, Ford, and Dodge stellar quality from the 70's through TODAY?

Damn 1200ftlbs of torque i wanna see that. He's gotta have a beefy Allison tranny in a truck like that cause i know Fords Auto's won't hold up to what they already put out and i doubt their 6 speeds will hold together that long either. That truck has to be a tire shredder from hell... lol One of my old bosses Had a 75 1 Ton chevy with a Deutz Air cooled 6 cylinder in it. He cranked it up a lot and built his own propane injection for it. Dyno on the rear end was 450HP and 930 ftlbs of torque at like 1400 RPMS the guy was a diesel genius and knew how to make them scream. his truck now is a 1 ton duallie 96 dodge and the cummins is cranked up to about 400hp and 800 torque. And he plans on turning it up even more. Must be nice to have the money to tinker with them lol
 
txgixer whats your beef... its obvious you don't know jack sh!t about trucks so go spew your crap elsewhere. I prefer Ford over anything. Mainly cause of the Powerstroke. Isn't a Diesel out right now that can pull with it. I love it when i hear chevy and dodge fanboys say their unloaded truck can rip the PS to shreds. I say i don't give a rats ass about unloaded. Lets hook up to 25000 lbs and then we'll talk... Chevy has always made a decent truck. They have good solid motors and tranny's that are cheap to rebuild to boot. Thats why so many people have old chev's is cause they can afford to work on them. I really don't give a rats ass what i drive as long as it gets the job done and its reliable. My truck right now is a 72 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4. Why cause i've always liked that body style. I can afford to work on it. Even though it has a hot Pontiac 389 under the hood. And its reliable. From the sounds of it your not even old enough to drive... Sorry your threads turned into a sh!tfest paulson someone needs to go smack this idiot around...

Subsitute.. I know that all to well. I screwed up when i rebuilt my 389. 10.5:1 compression... Need about 115 Octane for it to run really well... But she's got about 350HP 4.11 gears and will smoke both tires through second gear. Turbo350 trans with a NP205 T-case. Detroit locker in the rear. And it loves eatin' up rice. 🙂 I did opt out for the stock 2 barrell intake and put on a 500CFM Holly 2 barrel carb... i know how heavy my foot is and i'd have a 4 barrel kicked in all the time if i put that on there 🙂

I worked with Novell 2.X 3.X 4.X and some 5 and I don't even want to bother with 6. us grownup admin's still just call em the Novell servers K kid? Just because we call them that doesn't make us wrong like you would like to be. Now are you gonna bring even ONE thing to the table or is it your bed time?

You suck at Auto's, you suck at Business and you REALLY suck at Facts.


You still call NetWare, NOVELL, really smart there clark? If you are so up to speed WHY are you an Admin? Or is that what was open at the Help Desk at the time. Decorate your cube with Novell posters tomorrow . . . and keep track of your stapler . . . . and be sure you are logged into the call center queue, would not want to miss any password change tickets. Use rprinter to get that printer working again in the kitchen . . . .

Try getting the en pw tomorrow and do some real work on that Cisco 5000, or was it a 5500 or was it a 6000. Setup some vlans or whatever you call them, oh I forgot, you do not have the en pw.

If you need a slower pace of life (you have been striving to be an Admin for 10 years now) when you retire there is great property in Montrose or Gunnison 😀

Contract work, eh. Never did good enough job to get a perm position? Setup meaning you took them off the crate and out of the foam for en engineer to configure and rack mount? Cabletron is what you prefer eh? Cisco paid us a low penny just to get that crap outta the office for some 6000's and a couple 5500's.

So which is it, contract or Admin, since you post that you have done both? You can contact an admin a dime a dozen here . . ..
